LiveLeak Alternatives: 14 Best Sites For Watching Shocking Videos

LiveLeak Alternatives: 14 Best Sites For Watching Shocking Videos

LiveLeak was a website known for hosting gory videos of excessive violence, assaults, terrorism, and more. It was like a parallel to YouTube but without content restrictions – people would upload all kinds of videos, including those depicting quite graphic content.

Shocking content is appealing to many of us humans in a strange way. It is stimulating and thrilling, perhaps partly due to the taboo involved in it.

Unfortunately, LiveLeak shut down. The owners didn’t specify a reason, but they were likely getting tired of all the heat they were receiving.

If you’re looking for a LiveLeak alternative, you’re in luck. Today, I will be sharing 14 shock website alternatives that you can use to find gory videos.

The short version: Check out Kaotic.com, AliveGore, LiveGore, GoreGrish, and Run the Gauntlet. These sites feature the most shocking content, but read on to learn about the others as well.

Let’s get into it!

LiveLeak Alternatives – Best Sites for Watching Shocking Videos

1. Kaotic.com

Kaotic calls itself a “live leak of reality.” It’s the best alternative to LiveLeak as it features all sorts of gory and horrific videos that the mainstream media will never touch.

Just to give you a taste of what you can expect to see on Kaotic, here are some of the video titles currently featured on the homepage:

  • Raw: San Francisco police shoot man with knife
  • Wasted girl walks naked in the streets of Poland
  • Threesome had her questioning life lol
  • Undercover NYPD cop kills suspect with a cooler
  • Don’t steal from hood friends

Kaotic.com shows you all the chaos that exists in the world, from murder to violence to sexual escapades.

On the homepage, you will see 15 featured member uploads from each day. However, you can also browse the different categories, such as:

  • Medical
  • Fight
  • Funny
  • Protests
  • Robbery
  • Shooting
  • War

You can also browse by location, choosing from one of the trending locations or picking a location from the map.

To upload a video, click on Upload in the top menu.

2. KrudPlug

The next LiveLeak alternative on our list is KrudPlug. While the website doesn’t get as many new daily uploads as I would like, there are plenty of gory videos available for your viewing pleasure.

Here are some of the recent headlines on the site:

  • Hitmen blow themselves up by mistake after shooting up a house and forgetting to plant grenade in Ecuador
  • Woman gets her arm caught destroyed in a motorcycle chain in China
  • Female gang member found in kneeling position riddled with bullets in Brazil

Unfortunately, some videos are only available to premium members. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of free videos that you can watch.

Lots of videos have gotten over 40,000 views, so the site is pretty popular.

To submit a video to the site, use this form.

3. Crazy Shit

Another amazing substitute to LiveLeak is Crazy Shit. It has its share of gory content and violence, although most of the videos just seem to focus on crazy shit – just like the name suggests.

For example, here are some of the headlines from the site at the moment:

  • These athletes are having a shittier day than you
  • This week in brutality
  • 25+ people definitely having a shittier day than you
  • Animals fucking hate us: volume 157

That’s what I love about Crazy Shit. There are all kinds of crazy and insane videos you would never see elsewhere, including plenty that have nudity and violence.

Crazy Shit’s slogan is Making Memes Extreme.

Another thing I like about Crazy Shit is its series. It features plenty of series that each feature a recurring theme.

Here are some of the series on the site:

  • Shitty Days
  • Animals Fucking Hate Us (featuring gory videos of animals injuring or killing humans)
  • Brutal Edition Crazy Shit
  • Dumb Ways to Die
  • Fight Night
  • Fighting Fridays

There are also plenty of nudity-related content series, such as:

  • Public Acts (featuring public nudity)
  • Sex Acts You Didn’t Know
  • Retarded Porn Plots

One downside of Crazy Shit is that it does have an excessive amount of porn, perhaps too much for your liking. Some people just want to see gory videos of violence and not as much porn.

4. LiveGore.com

LiveGore.com features all kinds of gory videos and video leaks. If you want the type of real gore that was on LiveLeak, LiveGore is the place.

Here are some of the most recent headlines:

  • Woman on motorcycle assaulted and raped in Brazil
  • Police officer shooting kidnapping suspect
  • Female tourist getting eaten alive by shark in Egypt

These videos are horrific and extremely graphic! So do exercise caution before watching, as there is no censorship on LiveGore.

One thing I don’t like about LiveGore is how many ads are on the site. There are all kinds of pop-ups and redirects that can really annoy you, so make sure you are using an ad blocker before you visit LiveGore.

If LiveGore is ever down, you can visit ReeLeak.com. ReeLeak is a mirror site to LiveGore, displaying the same content.

5. AliveGore

AliveGore, like LiveLeak, features all kinds of uncensored videos, including suicides, executions, terrorism, shootings, and more. All kinds of shocking videos, such as torturers cutting off tongues, massacres of gang members, cartel violence, and terrible accidents are featured on the site.

AliveGore is not the same as LiveGore! They are two separate sites, despite the very similar names.

To give you an idea of the kind of videos you can expect on AliveGore, here are some of the recent headlines featured on the site.

  • Unfaithful wife is beaten by her husband and his comrades
  • Gruesome footage – decapitation of several villagers
  • A man with his eyes gouged out by the cartel
  • Another Nigerian man accused of rape burned to death

You can browse recent videos on the homepage, or you can browse by category. Some of the categories on the site include:

  • Beheading
  • Suicide
  • WTF
  • Execution
  • War
  • Murder
  • Shocking

Click on the red Upload Video button on the homepage to upload a video of your own.

Since the ads on the site can sometimes get out of hand, use an ad blocker while browsing it.

6. ItemFix

ItemFix is actually the successor to LiveLeak. Not a lot of people know this, but it replaced LiveLeak – LiveLeak.com now redirects to ItemFix.

However, the two sites are distinctly different. ItemFix is similar to LiveLeak, but it also features less shocking content, as it now has additional rules about what users are allowed to upload.

Some of the prohibited content on ItemFix include:

  • Excessive violence
  • Gory content
  • Sexual violence or assault
  • Hate content
  • Terrorism
  • Child exploitation

Also, when you upload a media file, moderators can assign it a rating. The rating system has three ratings, with the mature rating meaning that the content is only suitable for people over the age of 18.

In other words, while ItemFix still has plenty of shocking content, it is much milder and mellower than LiveLeak was, so you can’t really expect the same level of gore and violence.

For more rules and FAQs, check out this page.

Here are some of the recent headlines on the site:

  • Bus crashes into house
  • Cop trips suspect
  • Jewelry store employees fight back
  • Returning a fallen baby sloth to its mother
  • Pet frog

As you can see, there is still shock content, but there is also plenty of harmless content. Popular channels on the site include:

  • Crashes
  • Fail
  • WTF
  • News
  • Viral
  • Memes

7. Pr0gramm

Pr0gramm is a German-based site image and video board that is similar to LiveLeak, allowing people to upload all kinds of content, including shock content.

However, it does have certain rules you must follow, such as no child exploitation, no racism, no bestiality. See all the rules here.

To read the rules and the general site content, make sure your browser automatically translates the page from German to English. Most of the videos are still very watchable, as they are just videos, although some of the memes and image uploads may be in German.

8. Vidmax

Vidmax features plenty of WTF videos, including those with shocking amounts of violence.

Some of the most recent headlines on the site include:

  • Big homie bullied the wrong little Asian dude, gets destroyed in the gym
  • Looks like the sheriff of Fulton County who insisted on getting a mugshot of Trump was in a gay sex scene in a web series
  • Standoff between security and a hood rat at fast food joint ends as you expect it
  • Now people are now openly having sex on the NYC subway lines
  • Another day, another body bag for another dead junkie in San Francisco, 473 so far this year

I can’t say that there are that many videos uploaded every day, but the ones that are on the site are pretty interesting, and they tend to garner dozens of comments.

Ignore the videos that appear at the top of the page and the sidebar, as they are usually ads. Learn to differentiate this kind of promoted content from the content actually published by Vidmax.

You can also upload your own videos by using the “upload a video” button in the top right corner of the screen.

9. r/NSFL__

NSFL stands for Not Safe For Life, and it’s an internet slang abbreviation used to refer to content that is extremely graphic and highly disturbing (a step up from NSFW, which stands for Not Safe For Work). Videos depicting murders, suicides, assault, and other extreme violence usually fall into this category.

The NSFL__ subreddit features videos depicting murder, death, and other graphic content. While you can post all kinds of graphic content to this subreddit, there are some rules, including:

  • You can’t post violence you or an accomplice perpetrated. For example, you can’t assault, harm, or kill someone and then post the video.
  • You can’t post content produced by terrorist organizations or any acts of terrorism.
  • Animal abuse and posts involving children are not allowed.
  • Graphic content of victims of mass shootings and sexual abuse or exploitation are not allowed.

Other rules are readily viewable from the subreddit sidebar on your desktop.

Here are some of the recent headlines, to give you an idea of the type of content you might see on the NSFL__ subreddit:

  • Four people crushed when their car hit a truck head on and went underneath
  • Forensic examination of police officer death (while on duty)
  • Malfunctioning crane drops a concrete block on man’s foot

Due to Reddit’s policy rules, the subreddit has had to become a bit stricter regarding the kind of content it allows, so it is a bit more mellow than LiveLeak was. A lot of similar subreddits were already shut down due to violating Reddit’s policies.

10. r/CrazyFuckingVideos

This subreddit is also an excellent source of crazy videos now that LiveLeak is down. However, it focuses more on other types of shock videos rather than gore and death.

Here are some of the recent headlines on this subreddit:

  • Dude fights someone twice his size and learns a lesson the hard way!
  • Narcos forgot to throw the grenade
  • Man climbs into his ex balcony w/ a knife

So, there are plenty of graphic videos, even though gore and death are prohibited by the subreddit’s rules. You can browse flairs (which are like categories) such as “fight” and “injury.”

11. r/StreetMartialArts

The truth is that there is plenty of gore on Reddit if you look hard enough, and r/StreetMartialArts is one place you can find them.

It’s an interesting subreddit, as it focuses primarily on street fights, particularly those fought between untrained individuals (known as “street fighters”) and trained martial artists.

As you can expect, the trained martial artists usually end up winning. You can see all kinds of violence and horrific outcomes, such as people ending up brain-dead or with severe concussions and injuries.

These videos are actually quite educational in a sense, because you learn what can happen if you start a street fight with an unknown individual. You never know what kind of training they have or if they are carrying a weapon, and the consequences can be dire.

Here are some of the recent headlines on this subreddit:

  • Broke his leg with kicks
  • Crowd failed to save his arm
  • Messed with the wrong one
  • Laid out cold

12. BestGore.fun

BestGore.fun is a site that features short gory clips. It’s not the original BestGore site (that was shut down) but rather a replacement.

The videos are quite graphic, although videos of child and animal abuse, as well as self harm videos, are prohibited on the site.

Here are some of the recent headlines on BestGore.fun:

  • Man drowns himself for art
  • Dead prostitute
  • Biker gets splattered like a bug on a windshield
  • Knife wielding thief brutalized by mob

13. GoreGrish

An excellent alternative to LiveLeak is GoreGrish, which features all sorts of shock content, including failed surgeries, capital punishments, beheadings, drug overdoses, war crimes, and other gory content.

It’s one of the few sites that has managed to survive over the years. It was founded in 2010 and is still going strong.

It is known for featuring the autopsy images of Ngatikaura Ngati, a New Zealand toddler who died of child abuse.

Unlike most of the other sites, it has a different format and layout, as it looks more like a forum. There are different threads for medical images (like the botched surgeries and other gory medical images), accident and disaster images, war images, and others.

14. Run the Gauntlet

Finally, we have Run the Gauntlet. This is pretty unique in that it takes the form of a challenge.

To “run the gauntlet,” you will need to watch 20 levels of shock videos without looking away. You will be presented with all kinds of gory imagery, including images designed to make you feel nauseous – the site claims to feature the “the most vile, puke inducing, hard to watch videos on the internet.”

Can you run the gauntlet without looking away?

When I ran the gauntlet, the first video, at the beginner level, featured two girls who were arm wrestling, and one girl’s arm snapped and broke. You can only proceed to the next level once you have completely finished the video playback.

The next level featured a scene in which people were giving each other paper cuts, while the next level featured a performer playing a game called Russian Roulette Knife Cup but messing up and cutting his hand.

You can click the stop button at any time, or just exit the challenge if it gets too much for you.

I stopped watching after that. Mind you, those were all beginner levels – according to this site, other videos include someone drilling his penis, someone shattering a glass jar in his anus, animals being skinned alive, and someone being beaten to death with a hammer.

In addition to running the gauntlet, you can watch any of the other shocking videos on the site. Some recent headlines include, “man falls to his death after son in law opens elevator” and “boyfriend murder suicide in store.”

Final Thoughts

All of these sites feature pretty gory videos, so full discretion is advised.

Make sure you are prepared to watch these videos before you do so, because they can be pretty traumatizing and vile.

Also, make sure you are not in a public place – or at least have your earphones on – because the sounds can be quite shocking as well.
