Overall OCS has been a great experience. From the brand new facilities to the parent involvement. The entire community is intentional about nurturing a faith-based education while preparing students to be ready for college.
Because of my time at OCS I feel prepared to move on to the next phase of my education at Oklahoma State Univeristy. I understand how to write papers, how to analyze written works and what the expectations will be on a college level. The teachers hold us accountable and have a high standard which enables students to have a better understanding for what's ahead.
In addition, the music program has provided me a great experience with the Arts. The musical director is an amazing woman who helps her students to fall in love with drama as well as try new things. Because of her I was able to have a lead in the school musical and stretch myself without fear of rejection or criticism.
I will cherish my time at OCS and look forward to my future.

I attended ocs from 6th to 9th grade and I can say that it was the worst school experience of my life .If you are not rich white and the general social norm, you will not fit in and making friends will be a very isolating process . I was lucky to find people who were also different but we all struggled together .The ocs dress code is written to apply to anyone but is really only enforced on the girls at the school. I felt that I did not receive a good education at this school. On the surface all of my teachers were good people but I do not think all of them were equipped to be teaching middle and highschoolers. During election year I had many teachers go on right wing political rants in class . Going to this school you cannot publically have any non conservative ideals or you are heavily judged by your peers.when it comes to discipline ocs seems to only want to punish students instead of actually teaching them how to learn from mistakes. I would not recommend attending ocs
My experience with Oklahoma Christian School has benefitted me in several areas of my life. It has helped me become more knowledgable in my faith and how to work and succeed. From coming from a public school my whole life, Oklahoma Christian School has challenged me to become a better student along with the help of teachers and students. A change I would like to see at OCS would be more exposure to reality and preparing us for real things outside of Christianity we will experience.
