You can check in here from 30 hours before departure, choose your seat and print out your online boarding pass or have it sent to your mobile phone.
Availability of online check-in
Our Lufthansa check-in is available to you worldwide for all flights operated by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and SWISS.
You cannot check in online via Lufthansa for flights by any other airline not specified here, nor for so-called codeshare flights, i.e. flights which are operated by another airline, but booked on a Lufthansa flight number. You can recognise code-share flights with Lufthansa flight numbers by the identifier ‘operated by’ in your booking confirmation.
Mobile boarding pass availability
The mobile boarding pass is available for almost all Lufthansa destinations. In exceptional circumstances, however, it is possible that a mobile boarding pass cannot be issued due to official regulations. In this case, you will only receive a confirmation of check-in. You will then be handed your boarding pass at the airport counter.
Managing your mobile boarding pass
After receiving your mobile boarding pass, you can manage and use this offline if you have the Lufthansa app, iOS Wallet or Google Pay.
