Highly recommended. The swirl is a bit jarring, but no complaints about the sound.- Excellent representation of yet another outstanding, musically-fresh Voivod album. In interviews the band give a lot of praise to engineer/mixer Francis Perron of Radicart Studios - referring to him as a 5th member in one of their Hypercube Sessions - and you'll see why with this pressing. Voivod lives, and this release proves it once more! After all these years they are still able to surprise, to go differet ways than you would expect, and follow their own artistic vision. The great "The End of Dormacny" EP proves this, too. The current line-up of two original members and two more than gifted younger guys (both of them Voivodians to the bone) really nails it. I saw this version of the band several times performing live and the chemistry on stage seems to be great. I hope for more!- I got my copy signed by the band while we were having a pizza together and talking about music. Great guys!
- This is a great pressing, very punchy when the music is playing, and quiet when it is not.
Edited 4 years agoWhat a huge format! Incredibly beautiful album, 2 vynils with a huge poster and lyric sheet. Highly recomended! Voivod at his purest, the new guitarist is the f***kng reincarnation of Piggy? I love the riffs, awesome, awesome, awesome!

The packaging is.......beautiful, my god, sumptious. as well as the poster it also comes with a lyric sheet by the way to fully follw the lyrics.
