The staff at this site were wonderful, even though the front desk staff were working alone during the evening. They responded promptly and as quickly as possible. The hotel vending machines did not work on any of the floors and several lights were out in the room. It appears that the new covid-19 protocol is to only clean room upon checkout so in order to get a new roll of toilet paper, i had to find cleaning woman.

I had come for my son’s wedding. They room was clean however the water didn’t get hot in shower. And the people coming in there Friday night’s didn’t make you feel comfortable knocking on other people’s doors multiple times and wandering halls.

We arrived at about 3pm and told the employee at the service desk we wanted a room for 2 nights.
SD = Service desk
ME
SD: Do you have a reservation?
ME: No, we just want a room for tonight and tomorrow nignt.
SD: I need your reservation number.
ME : We don't need reservations to get a room.
SD: You need a reservation.
ME: The parking lot is empty, so you can't say you have no rooms.
SD: I can't help you unless you have a reservation.
Me: (louder) Do you have some sort of mental disorder.
At this point a lady comes to the service desk and tells me "he's training". At this point we're checked in without any further problems. I did ask this lady if the employee who first greeted us was the hotels new policy with DEI. Got no response.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a very pleasant stay but the most important reason for this review is to compliment and comment the honesty of the staff. I left the motel very early to go fishing and discovered that I did not have my wallet when I got to the boat. I called the motel; housekeeping found the wallet and it was waiting for me with all my currency etc. I reward was offered but was refused. I thank the staff so much!

Traveling on the road now on a nearly weekly basis, I hardly ever run into smoking properties in today's world. Walking into the Hampton Inn I immediately knew that this property would be an issue. Hotel "only allows smoking on the 4th floor" however that doesn't matter when the property has a ventilation system.
The smell of cigarette smoke is present in the lobby, hallways, and bedrooms. Called Hilton Honors line from room and was told to go speak with Front Desk, which I did and Courtney was far from helpful in fact was more interested in going home, as she spoke with her significant other about her desire to leave this 'sh** hole.' Phone on the front desk and when explaining my situation, the best she could do was tell me to call Hilton Honors and that she can't cancel any stays or refund a card.
When inquiring about a manager or supervisor, I was told "They work Monday-Friday from 7-4 so you'll have to wait for Mr. Paul in the morning." A 24/7 business has no leadership or any decision makers on property at all times. This is the sign of a sinking hotel. Having worked in much nicer properties ($400+ plus a night in the Maine winters) that's not hospitality.
Only reason they get two stars is the night auditor, who when Courtney decided not to talk anymore said he can adjust my rate to govt rate and shorten my stay so that the risk of losing less money due to fee's was present. He gets it. 'Mr. Paul' did respond to my email the next morning explaining the situation.
Note that property is going under some sort of renovation, what it is who knows, and the hallways were filled with construction material including nails, box cutters, and more. Dangerous.
Not worth your time. Head across the street to Fairfield Inn. Place was busy, friendly, and comfortable!

We were given a handicap room which we did not request. It had no dresser for our clothes. There were three small baskets next to the microwave and we were told to use those for our clothes when we spoke to the front desk. They did nothing to accommodate us.

Really not sure how to review this stay. The breakfast attendant was very personable however we noticed a mouse running back and fourth and she just kind of laughed it off. The carpet in our room was very sticky and dirty. My toddler discovered the pool door doesn’t seem to lock as we were waiting for the elevator to open after a late check in - this had me worried so I asked a housekeeper about it and they shrugged and said it doesn’t work. Same housekeeper was talking very badly about the front desk in the hallway, the front desk is where this place excels, everyone up there was great and personable, they mentioned a full renovation coming so maybe we will try again in the future.
I am glad we stayed with my wife’s points or else I would have been upset spending so much money to stay at a run down motel.

Friendly and welcoming staff! Room was clean and comfortable! Work out room clean and machines well maintained. A staff member stopped in to check on it and stocked items while I was there and she was interactive but gave me my space. The coffee was hot and perfect!

The way I was treated at this hotel is what the Hilton brand is all about and why I have been a Hilton Honors member for so many years!!
I stayed here in the middle of a very stressful move and life change. The staff was so warm and friendly, they made me comfortable and that lowered my stress level so much. The room was spotless, the breakfast was amazing every morning and they had cookies at night! I had my two beagles and they provided me with a list of local dog parks, dog friendly venues and vets as well as a large pet area outside complete with poop bags and everything. Although they were doing some remodeling and updates they were very mindful not to disturb the guests.
I highly recommend this property! My hats off to the General Manager, Jimmie Little, for building and retaining such a high performing team!

Booked a non smoking room two weeks ago with Booking and was given a Smoking room that smelled worse than a cigarette factory there was no way we could have spent the night in the room. We ask for another room and they had no rooms and we were charged for a room we did not stay in. Two companies we will not use again. We should have checked our reservations better so that was our fault because we have never smoked and the typist typed in Smoking. But the company''s were not willing to assist us or even suggest assistance for us. So we will not use them again. l
