Why did this show get cancelled again?
Too expensive to film in the Keys
Everything was filmed on location. Florida used to have a great tax credit for filming and that ran up last year. We are lucky we got one more season out of Netflix. Unfortunately the budget cuts and quick cancellation showed in the third season.
If that tax credit was still going on I certainly believe we'd see a 4th or even 5th season and a lot more cohesive plot line

The location were a huge part of this show. I'm guessing not unless there's location that would be really similar. But I think the show is done.
Sure it's possible.
Likely? I'd say no.
I'm certain this idea was brought up before Netflix decided to cancel. But Netflix has information available to them like viewership which factored into their decision. There's also the cost of building new sets of the Inn, houses, docks, etc etc to match the prior seasons.
With the way season 3 went I think that's it for this show. Not really a ton they can do after this with the way it ended. Maybe if they ended up all escaping to different states wile could see a return but it's over for the Rayburn family.
Sucks cause it's one of my favorite shows ever.

Same. I'd rather watch this than Netflix build another fucking unknown shitty superhero show.
Aside from the tax credit as mentioned by u/JayS_23, it was also very low viewership. That is a bad Return On Investment, making it expensive, even if shooting in a new state where they would have a tax credit.
I feel like it may be that the first season was really good and engaging, the second was a bit of a letdown and may have shown a huge drop off in viewership. My guess is it was Danny being gone, and the family having little to no redeeming or "good" characters, and everyone around them being pretty evil...
Don't get me wrong, it's shot beautifully, and the acting is really good, but not every Netflix viewer wants a wall to wall depressing show.
