The Beverly Hilton Hotel presents a mixed bag of experiences, with some travelers commending its stylish ambiance and prime location close to Beverly Hills hotspots, while others have faced disappointment with outdated rooms and varying service quality. One of those iconic hotels with a great history. Everyone knows about the Golden Globes that are held here. The room was very comfortable with the feeling that you would expect from this type of hotel. It was just getting ready for some big renovations, so certain parts were closed off. The gym was not great and the restaurant for breakfast was closed off to the pool area. The staff was very friendly and will be back when they finish the update.

My family and I spent a week here over half term and after reading some reviews I was concerned about unrenovated rooms and building noise. Well, our room was clean and pleasant, as well as quiet. I was in the Oasis building which appeared to have been re-carpeted and decorated recently (well on my floor anyway). The pool area was relaxing and chilled, the gym a good size and the reception area was impressive. The service at this hotel really is excellent and every staff member I interacted with was professional and helpful, so well done to all!

The hotel is well located and ideal for a stay in LA. The 'Golden Triangle' around Rodeo Drive is all within a short walk and Westfield Century City Mall is walkable in 10-15 mins. The house car is a great feature and overall the stay was a good one. I would definitely return when in LA. I gave 4 instead of 5 marks due to the room being a tad below par for what I expected for the price and felt the breakfast buffet was a tad expensive at $35 per person. I appreciate the location can dictate price and the exchange rate is not great against sterling right now, but overall a lovely hotel. Also good for some people watching at times!

My wife and I stayed at the Beverly Hilton July 30 - August 2021,. It was our second time.

The renovations were tastefully done, but they do need to change the iconic black and white awnings around the pool. They are badly weathered and dirty. The pool, however, is clean and just the right temperature.

We had dinner at Sant'olina upstairs, which was spectacular. We didn't have reservations, but after a 5 minute wait we were seated at a fabulous table on the patio overlooking the Hollywood Hills.

Some answers to questions:

Are masks required? Yes, all of L.A. County currently requires masking indoors, including the Bev Hilton. You do not need to wear masks outside, at the pool or walking around the pool area.

Is there a bar open? The Lobby Bar is currently closed, and there is currently no bar at the restaurant, but one is being built. You can go to the pool bar, but that is mostly for servers since there are no stools at the bar. You can order there and sit on the chairs adjacent to the bar. If you want that hotel bar experience, take a short walk over to the Peninsula where there is a spectacular lobby bar and posh "the living room" featuring their resident pianist. We did this each night.

Dress Code? While there is no written dress code, respect the property and its history. My wife and I choose to dress in business-smart attire, so for dinners and evening outings at the hotel, she would wear a comfortable dress, and I would wear a suit but no tie. During the day, clean shorts and pool attire are perfectly fine. Don't bring a floaty - this is not Wisconsin Dells.

Is it expensive? That's subjective. All of Southern California is "expensive" so plan on paying a premium for rooms, dinner and lunches. Parking is $50 a day (currently no valet).

This is a very nice hotel and staff are very helpful and friendly. We will return.

What I liked most of this hotel is the location which was excellent in the heart of Beverly Hills. The very professional and friendly staff were also an advantage to the hotel, they were always there and keen to help with a smile when encountering them. All of them were just great from the valet/bell men/ front desk and house keeping.

Now lets start with the room, if you decide to book the standard rooms, King/double bed, just dont!

You’ll enter the great lobby area of the fancy Beverly Hilton and then you’ll be directed to the “Oasis building” which wasn’t at all an Oasis, it was just an old building linked to the luxurious Hilton.
The Oasis building had some floors which just got renovated and some floors were under ongoing renovation, so we had to deal with some noises during our stay, but wasn’t very bad luckily. Our rooms were supposed to be in the renovated floors, which I thought I was lucky to have them. Unfortunately I was wrong.

The corridor that leads you to your room was still dull with popcorn ceiling and poorly lightening. It seemed like it was like that since the opening of the hotel in the 50s.

Then you think the room should be new since it was renovated but unfortunatley its NOT, Ive spoken to a front desk employee and he told me the renovation was only changing the carpets, painting the walls and upgrading the TV. The room still looked bad with popcorn walls, old furniture, and had a TERRIBLE bathroom with a tub which Im sure was there for more than 4 decades.

The only good thing was the TV and ipad in the room to make requests for house keeping, valet etc.

Even our view which was supposed to be overlooking the “Oasis” was blooked by a tent 5 feet away from our window and workers that disturbed us three days in a row building it in the morning.

And now with the huge surprise we had on our Christmas eve, a tiny cockroach appeared in one of the rooms which messed up my family’s night. I couldn’t kill unfortunately, so I went quickly down to front desk and was helped changing the room immediately, she also applied $50 credit as for this inconvenience happened.

The price of this hotel isn’t cheap so when we booked our stay here we had high expectations but unfortunately the Hilton with its poor Oasis building was much below the expectations, especially that with that price range, you could easily find another 4 star or even 5 star hotel with much better accommodations in the Beverly Hills area.

I hope Hilton management consider an overhaul renovation to it because the oasis building is not worth the stay at all.

We had a fantastic stay at the Beverly Hilton. The hotel staff here were without exception extremity helpful and polite; the concierge desk was particularly so for general information and booking excursions.

We had a fairly large room with a balcony. Most floors have recently been refurbished and everything felt clean and new. Great bathroom with double sink, a brilliant power shower, large king size bed, nice furnishings. Coffee and tea making facilities are available but need to be requested and then delivered to the room. The room had free WiFi, a safe, ironing board and iron, fridge, flatscreen TV and ample cupboard space.

Some floors are still undergoing renovation but the working hours are pointed out to guests and I have to say that we didn’t find it a disturbance at all, but maybe we were just lucky and not close to any noise.

The breakfast area offers a choice of inside or outside seating. The staff were attentive here and the hot and cold buffet breakfasts were excellent; with a really great egg chef who made superb omelettes. There was a separate selection of gluten free bread and cakes, with a separate toaster. This area became the dining and bar area at night, with the option of à la carte or bar food.
The main foyer had an excellent bar and snack area as well.

This is a large, busy hotel and at the time of our stay was hosting many award ceremonies and dinners. Indeed, we were here for an event and I have to say that the facilities were excellent.

There was also a fairly decent gym, outdoor pool and spa facilities. The hotel offers a courtesy car to anywhere within a mile radius which we used on two occasions. It will also collect. It’s first come, first served so not always available and you could be asked to share. Excellent, friendly drivers.

We had a really great stay and enjoyed this rather iconic LA hotel.

This was our second stay at this beautiful, iconic hotel. If you have the chance to go, do. Staff are accommodating and friendly. When we were checking in, the member of staff gave us the option to have two double beds on a higher floor or a king on the first floor – we went for the higher option (6444) – it had a partial mountain view, and down below, it overlooked the Oasis; you could even hear the water from the fountain, which was nice and relaxing.

The only thing to note with the room was that it was right by the elevator, so there was some noise, but it didn't disturb us at night. The room itself was a suite, so nice and spacious, with a couch, two double beds, a desk and a large unit with a mini-fridge and drawers. The bathroom was big and had a fun square-shaped bath that also had a shower.

I got up for a 5 am swim in the morning, and had the pool to myself! It was fab!

The breakfast was ample as well, I really enjoyed the yoghurt with fruit and chocolate chips and granola!

A fantastic stay!

Very rude staff! We had four people staying in the room and they only would leave two towels each day and no wash cloths. When the sink was clogged as soon as we checked in the room they refused to issue us another room. I spent the extra money because I wanted to make my sons post deployment leave special but it wasn’t worth the money in my opinion.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous lobby area. Stunning and try glamorous feel. Theres a great pool area and restaurant, and the fitness center was decent too. Would be nice to gain access to the spa area with the room fee so high. The guest rooms are nice and comfortable too... Gets slightly pricey with fees and parking, etc. Location is alright, you can walk the area if you cross a few main roads. Overall great stay, we were just here one night though.

A well aged beauty with all the classic Hollywood touches you expect in Beverly Hills. yes it could use a remodel but i think that would ruin the old Hollywood fee you instantly get Large property in a great location to hit all the touristy LA places. Do not hesitate to seek out Sean at the concierge desk he is the best one you will ever come across, he know his stuff and us very helpful i wish i could say that about most concierges

My family and I were looking forward to staying at this iconic location on our recent trip to Los Angeles and they did not disappoint! Chad at the Front Desk checked us in and helped so much in selecting the perfect room for our first visit. We stayed in room 250, a junior suite with a beautiful balcony to watch the sunset. The hotel is undergoing some remodeling of their guest rooms, and even though they were working on the floor above our room, there were really no disruptions. If the front desk hadn’t been kind enough to make us aware of the work going on, we wouldn’t have known. The lobby and hotel facilities were all beautiful and my daughters loved the pool. The restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast, and Daniel our breakfast waiter was top notch! The lounge’s signature cocktails were s delicious treat, as well. The location of this property was perfect for site seeing and shopping, and it was very easy to get around to all of our points of interest. We loved our stay here and can not wait to go back!
