Samuel Timothy McGraw, frequently known under his stage name Tim McGraw (born 1 May 1967) is an American Country Singer and actor, often seen donning his trademark cowboy hat, originally from Delhi, Louisiana.
McGraw grew up in a small community, the only child of a waitress mother and successful baseball player father, Frank Edwin “Tug” McGraw, who was often travelling the USA whilst playing for various teams. He was an avid sports player growing up, and attended the University of Mississippi through a baseball scholarship, before dropping out to pursue his musical career.
After handing out demos trying to catch a break in the early 90’s, McGraw's father happened to be playing one of his son's songs in the car whilst his friend, a record executive at Curb Records was sat in the passenger seat. The label quickly snapped him up but his first album was a commercial failure, not charting in the top 40.
However in 1994, McGraw recorded and released his second album, "Not a Moment Too Soon", which was a smash hit, reaching the top of the country charts. The following year, McGraw demonstrated he had serious chops as a country singer when his third album “All I Want” sold over 2 million copies and hit the top of the charts again.
In 1996 McGraw married fellow country star Faith Hill, and went on to release ten more successful albums within 18 years, as well as an unlikely collaborative chart smash hit with rap superstar Nelly, “Over and Over”. In 2006 McGraw went on a 55 city tour with his wife called “Soul2Soul II Tour”, which was a massive triumph, generating revenue of almost $89M, making it the most profitable country tour of all time.
Later on in his career, McGraw has also enjoyed a successful stint in the acting business, starring in the award winning sports drama “The Blind Side” and action thriller “The Legend” alongside Jamie Foxx.
The country star has also become known for his charity work, in 2010, McGraw and his wife put on a benefit concert called “Nashville Rising” to aid flood victims in the south, they also worked as aid transporters during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Read moreI have been a fan of Hunter Hayes for a few years now and I have been really wanting to see him perform. I finally got that chance a few days ago, and it was even more amazing than I could have imagined. From the beginning, Hunter brought a huge amount of energy to the stage and all of his fans could feel it throughout the entire concert. The majority of his songs came from Encore, which debuted in 2011, but he also played a few songs from his newest album, Storyline. During each song he performed, he showed off his many talents. Whether he was playing an incredible guitar solo, changing up different parts of the songs, or playing drums, he kept the audience completely entertained. He even took a selfie with his fans during a break in his performance.
Whenever Hunter spoke to the crowd, it was easy to see how genuine he truly is. He kept thanking his fans and telling the audience about various things he has gone through in his life, and it made us appreciate him even more as a person and an artist. The most memorable part of the concert was when "Light Me Up" began. A few members of his crew threw out huge light-up balls for the crowd to bounce back and forth during the last couple of songs. It definitely added to the fun! Fans of Hunter Hayes should definitely see him live in concert when they get the chance! You will not be disappointed!
One of America's most successful country stars, Tim McGraw has a huge following for his live show on the back of his massive commercial successes. Having conveniently married another country star Faith Hill, Tim always has a dazzling duet to surprise and delight fans with.
Yet as a solo artist, he confidently commands the stage with guitar in hand and smile on face for the likes of 'One Of Those Nights' and 'Southern Girl'. An incredibly humble star also, the singer continuously interacts with his audience no matter how big or small the venue and thanks them for their ongoing support.
He has some obvious hits such as 'Real Good Man' and 'Just To See You Smile' which may gain the biggest cheers from the crowd, yet Tim attacks each song with the same amount of positive enthusiasm. Although he shares the audiences love for set closer 'Live Like You Were Dying' as a mass singalong brings an enjoyable show to a close.

It was a fantastic show! The best part was Tim and Faith's chemistry onstage, he was flirting with her & kissing her and she, after 21 years of marriage he told us, had shy reactions like a young schoolgirl with a first boyfriend. They were so cute together. They are like a couple from Harlequin romance novels! And both were powerhouses when it came to their singing! Margot Price opened the show and she was also wonderful! They told the audience this was the last show of this Soul 2 Soul tour, but I hope they come back to NYC on their next tour so I can see them again if only for the beautiful staging, sound, lighting, and special effects produced by their crew, and their band was great providing fantastic backup singing and music for Tim and Faith!
Tim McGraw was awesome to look at but vocally, leaves so much to be desired. He didn't talk very much and it was all about the music but the music left a lot to be desired, vocally and instrument wise. I went to see him because even though he doesn't impress me vocally, he has some awesome songs, especially on his latest album. Unfortunately, he only sang three of those and he didn't do my favorite, I Want You Back. He didn't do any of my other favorites either (Friend of a Friend, the number song and a couple others) and he only performed for an hour and twenty minutes. He is definitely not someone that I would see again but if nothing else, he was a sight for sore eyes and I got some great pics.
Absolutely Great. The crowd was loving him. He involves the fans and lets them know they matter. He had a little boy on stage when he did an acoustic and gave him his guitar, this was awesome. There were 2 little girls in front of us with their father, they knew the words to his songs and were having a blast. He is just grateful for the fans and you know that when you go to his concert. He performed old hits as well as new. I just loved it I have seen him 7 times and will see him again when he is in Charlotte.
The Soul 2 Soul Concert with Tim & Faith was the most awesome experience I have ever had in my life. The singing was superb and he is absolutely gorgeous. The love shown between Tim & Faith is so fantastic. I think every man should look at their wife the way he looks at Faith. I wish I could go to another concert of Tim's in the near future. I will be watching for any upcoming dates. I had a wonderful time!
It was fantastic! Both are great performers. Faith Hill has amazing energy and Tim Mcgraw is very respectful on stage. They seem to have a lot of fun on stage and their band and singers seemed to have as much fun. It's nice when the artists recognize them during their show. Let's not forget their voices. No surprise they are on top. Great talent!!!
It's was a awesome and amazing concert show although I had to leave but I did stayed at half of the show but like I said Tim McGraw concert show was good and awesome and amazing and they had people loving them and their band and their concert show was awesome and amazing and wow Tim can sang wow it just an awesome show. Annette
One of the WORST-sounding concerts that I have ever experienced. We had great floor seats but the drums and bass guitar were so loud that no one in my group could understand any of the words from Tim or Faith. 90% of the concert just sounded like a lot of loud white noise.
Too bad that the artist probably have no idea.
