The devout Catholic actor and his wife Kerri Browitt adopted Bo from China when he was three.
Bo and his sister, who was also adopted by the Caviezels, have both suffered brain tumours and in a speech the Frequency star gave at Orlando’s First Baptist Church on Saturday (30Apr11), it appears his son has developed life-threatening cancer.
Caviezel told the congregation, “Maybe God, through my son’s death, is going to teach me something.”
