Reviews
- Not a patch on The Seekers. One poor Julie Andrews impression from start to finish. After hearing this I'm not surprised her solo career didn't take off.
I really wanted to like this but I'm afraid she's stuck in high note mode throughout. Skyline Pigeon and Climb Ev'ry Mountain are painful to listen to and the rest is just boring.
How the singer of The Carnival Is Over and Georgy Girl etc could sound this bad is beyond belief.
Do yourself a favour and track down something by Esther Ofarim [yes her of Cinderella Rockafella fame] instead of this disaster of an LP: now that girl could really sing!
