I was excitedly looking forward to a my trip all year and just prior to the flight, I booked in on-line. I was happy to see there was a "priority" seat in economy available as I am 6'4" and a long, long flight can be very painful. A "priority" seat is essentially a bulkhead seat with extra leg-room.

Well, when I boarded the plan I was shocked to see a full row of seats in front of mine!!! I checked with my seat-mates and they too said they had booked their seats expecting no row of seats in front. What the hack happened! No one mentioned anything about this magical row of seats. I suspect that the actual plane we got was a different configuration than the one that was shown on check-in (and seat booking). However, how can we book a seat if the seat we book is not shown accurately?!?!

In any case, as I have later found out, Cathy Pacific have recently reconfigured many of their planes adding extra seats. What I was left with was about 6 inches of legroom for my 6'4" length. This made for a terribly uncomfortable flight and a bad start to my trip.

Very, very disappointed with Cathy Pacific!!!!!!

After my last flight I wasn’t looking forward to this one. What a difference! This was the experience I was hoping for! What a great crew. The Food was amazing and everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be there. This time I wished it had been a 12+ hour flight. The only downside after this great experience was realizing how bad the flight from Seattle to Hong Kong was.

What a let down. I saved for years to take my daughter on a special trip to Hong Kong and Japan. We were so excited to get fly Cathay Pacific business class on this long haul flight. Unfortunately it felt like we were nothing but a nuisance to the flight attendants. From rude interactions, “What do you want for dinner?” the attendant snapped. “I’m not sure.” My daughter said. “Well you should know, it’s all in this paper!” And she rudely opened the menu and demanded my daughter pick something right away. It was awkward and uncomfortable and set the tone for the rest of the 12.5 hour flight. The plane was great. A new A350-900. Other than that, I was really disappointed. I’ll be looking elsewhere for long haul transpacific flights.

I had one of the best flights with Cathay as the staff were genuinely concern with our safety as well as our wellbeing while flying with them. Eventhough both flights to and fro where a full flight, they still tried their best to fulfill your request if possible. And there was always a warm smile seen throughout the flight. Really love the people and their great personality which makes it a family friendly flight. For my kid flying for the first time without any crying, i would give it a Star. Thanks once again for treating all passengers equally.

Great stewards and stewardesses. The service was first rate and the food and beverages were world class. It was a 10 hour flight, so the pods in business class were welcomed when I wanted to sleep. Hot towels were very refreshing once morning broke just outside of Vancouver.
