35% Tomatometer 26 Reviews 79% Audience Score 50+ Ratings FBI Agent Audrey Parker arrives in Haven, Maine, on what she believes is a routine assignment. But the longer she stays, the more curious she becomes -- about the townspeople, who seem to be beset by a range of supernatural afflictions; about the town itself, which contains many secrets; and about her own surprising connection to this strange place. Based on the Stephen King novella "The Colorado Kid." Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Buy Now

      Critics Consensus

It benefits from an intriguing setting and a strong lead in Emily Rose, but otherwise, Haven is a derivative supernatural crime procedural.

Alan Sepinwall HitFix Neither the town nor Rose particularly come to life, and the supporting cast so far is limited to a genial but dull local cop and a local hustler. Feb 12, 2019 Full Review Daniel Fienberg HitFix "Haven" is couched as a mystery or a thriller of some sort, but offers neither of either. Feb 12, 2019 Full Review Zack Handlen AV Club There's a premise here, but it's the sort of premise you can grasp in concept without being really excited about. Haven is a small town where strange things happen. Now where have I heard that before? Feb 12, 2019 Full Review Will Wade Common Sense Media The dialogue is snappy. Rated: 3/5 Jan 17, 2020 Full Review Andrew Gilstrap PopMatters You get used to the show's love of red herrings, in which Nathan and Audrey see theory after theory busted, but some of those false trails are pretty well done. Rated: 6/10 Feb 12, 2019 Full Review Chris Ball Cleveland Plain Dealer This offbeat Syfy series, based on Stephen King's "The Colorado Kid," takes some large leaps, with unseen forces wreaking havoc. Lively exchanges between Parker and the quirky townspeople keep it light. Rated: B- Feb 12, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Al R I just want to say I did like the first 3 seasons. After that they ruined the show. The entrance of William and the BS that followed turned me away from the show completely. I HATED the character and the direction of the series. I tried again to tolerate this season but got so irritated I shut it off! HORRIBLE!!!!!! Season 5 was more tolerable but Shatner made it kind of a joke. I now watch up to season 3 and move on to something else Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Audience Member Exciting series with good ideas. Entanglements, secrets and falsehoods make the series exciting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The first season gets off to a strong start.introducting it's central characters and mysteries whole also showcasing some solid episodes that delve into the town and the characters without been overburdened by the deeping complexity later on. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member After an exceptionally poor pilot and a few weak episodes, the show found a beat and by the end I was happy to watch a second season (spoiler — it got pretty good!) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Ideas were too clever to be nurtured in 30 minutes. The pace was laughable. Our "FBI Agent's" character was far too silly and unbelievable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a fun show despite the murders/supernatural aspects. It does verge on campy and predictable at times!
