Stayed 3 nights at this 4 star hotel of great value. Taxi at Don Mueang Airport cost 1100 baht plus tolls which end up costing >1200 baht (>$30USD); it costs a lot less to go from hotel to Don Mueang (about 500-600 baht); it may be better to book a private pick up online for less and better service. Location of hotel is a bit at end of street about 10 minute walk to Skytrain stations Ratchadamri and Chilom and Erawan Shrine; there is a free hotel tuk tuk shuttle, but it may be easier to just walk and avoid waiting. Service at hotel was great. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Good hand held shower heads with good water pressure. Nice large gym and pool at Mezzanine. There is a lounge on 17th floor (very cool and unique for a Courtyard), which has some food for breakfast, afternoon, and dinner time, but has snacks all day and is open from early morning to 12 midnight. Overall, a great hotel for value and comfort/service. Would choose to stay again when back in Bangkok.

We are right at the moment in the Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok on a 16 day stay. It is our 5th day and we are very satisfied with the hardware of the hotel. The soft skills are missing on some parts. Let's begin with the positive aspects. The location is perfect, right between the BTS stations Rajadamri and Chit lom. Both stops are reachable on a short walk or with the complimentary hotel shuttle. Rooms are from a good size and equipped with a good working shower, a large flat screen tv and 2 comfy double beds. Even the furniture is a bit dated, everything is kept in good condition. Housekeeping is doing a great job too. The pool area is nice and quiet. A great place to relax after a day in town. Dinner at the Momo cafe was delicious and from a good portion size. The only negative aspects of the hotel are some soft skills. We are Bonvoy Gold members and will reach Platinum level after this stay. When we checked in, we were not greeted by our names. Our reservation was not found even it was made more than 2 months ago. A day before we checked in, we got an email that we will receive an room upgrade. At check in we got asigned to our booked room, a premium room. Just after we asked for an upgrade, we got the bigger corner room. Executive Lounge access would not be granted. Nobody told us if there are any Gold benefits, like 20 percent discount on F & B, like in many Marriott hotels. We still don't know that. When we reached our room, there was no welcome letter or flowers or fruits. We do not need that, but it is always a nice gesture and you feel more welcome. We don't want to sound picky, but we stay in many Marriott hotels and usually got a more personal service. This small things make the difference between good and outstanding. We are here for another 11 days and we will definitely come back, as most parts of our stay we are satisfied.

I have absolutely the best stay at Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok. The experience was superb and I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I would gladly return for a stay here. Things we loved about the hotel : 1) Location was great and made touring Bangkok so easy with the close proximity to the BTS Train stations. Just 5 minutes walk to 'Chit Lom' & 'Ratchadamri' Stations which connects you most tour sites and MRT and Airport train lines. The hotel provides a free tuk tuk shuttle service to both Chit Lom & Ratchadamri Stations at any time, and to Central World mall at selected times. 2) Starbucks, cafes, 7-11 convenient stores, massage spa, restaurants & pharmacies just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Google map might not reflect this route from the hotel to Chit Lom area, but there is a short cut that's open on the right side of the hotel from 6am-9pm. 3) Cleanliness : Since the pandemic, hotel cleanliness was a priority for us in selecting a place to stay. We were glad to see a sign that assured us the room was thoroughly sanitized. The room was so well cleaned daily that there was not a spec of dust on any surface, not even behind the television. 4) The room was quiet, spacious, air conditioning was adjustable, hot water shower, comfy beds. USB charging ports were a bonus, so we didn't have to worry about bringing a universal adapter. 5) Staff were superb. Every one we met at the hotel was friendly, professional yet down to earth and so ever willing to help. They recommended places we could get food around the hotel and how to get to places we wanted to go. They can even call a cab for you (but we recommend using the GRAB app so you could see the fares beforehand). English is spoken very well at the hotel so we had no problems conversing at all. We really felt the genuine Thai hospitality through them. We genuinely had the best stay here and was overwhelmed by the Thai hospitality. We can't wait to return to Bangkok!

From the beginning: They offered to send a car to pick me up from the airport which would cost 1800 Baht. The metro from the airport including a Tuk Tuk drop to the hotel costed me 120 Baht. On my departure the taxi costed me 250 Baht. So I can't understand why they would want to charge 1800 baht. Since I'm a club Marriott member i asked for a room upgrade and i could've sworn that the upgrade room that was offered to me was a replica of the room that i was assigned in the first place. The room is pretty comfortable and well equipped. The front office staff ( especially Friend ) were very courteous. Breakfast is at 6.30 to 10.30. The staff there are have absolutely no concept of customer service. 10.30 means 10.30 and they start clearing everything on the dot. Even if you're serving yourself ! What I feel they should do is to stop guests from entering by 10.25 & then at least wait till all the guests who're already there to finish before clearing the food. Frankly, I wouldn't opt for breakfast . There is huge spread on offer but the taste quality is average . There is a tuk tuk drop to chit lom station whenever the guests requests for it.

Dear Sunil99, Thanks for choosing to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok. We appreciate the time taken to review us in tripadvisor and providing us with your valuable feedback. The charge of THB 1,800 is for one way Limo service to the airport in a premium vehicle. The Limo service of the hotel is outsourced to an agent providing this service and the rates are similar to the other hotels within the vicinity. However the hotel also assist our guest in booking a normal taxi with a fixed rate of THB 400 including the highway toll fee. I am sorry if our concierge team have not communicated the full information to you and we will definitely refresh their training in this regards. We have also taken note of your recommendation on the breakfast and will surely work with the team to bring improvement on this. We hear though your shout out to Khun Friend at the reception desk for her courteous service and I will definitely pass on your message to her. I do want to sincerely apologize once again for not being able to meet your expectation, but will appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an experience that reflects better what you can expect when staying with us. Please feel free to reach out to me directly under debdyuti.dasgupta@marrriott.com should your travel bring you back to Bangkok. This review is for my ASQ stay, which was not a typical hotel stay at this location. Pickup and transportation was smooth to the hotel from the airport. The room was a good size, with excellent food in both quality and amount. I never felt the need to order additional food from room service at all, many times saving some food in the refrigerator for snacking on later since I could not finish all the food they provided. My room only had a shower, it would have been nice to have a tub, but it is not typical to expect one in hotels of this level. The outdoor area in the pool had plenty of sun, although the gym was closed during my stay due to government requirements. Staff was very responsive on LINE or phone. Room came with a Mi-Stick that had Netflix provided. I was also able to request a HDMI cable to borrow. No issues with wifi during my stay. Yoga mats are provided on request, additional exercise equipment can be rented for additional cost. The weights are reasonable, but the exercise bike and treadmill prices I found to be unreasonable so I only opted for weights. No microwave in the room but the food was never delivered cold, so I did not need one. There was a small refrigerator in the room that was good for storing water or fruit that I had left over from my meals. Additional water and toiletries were provided on request. Of note for Marriott Bonvoy members is that nights and points are available for the stay. No additional benefits can be expected due to the stay being ASQ. The price is good for the food and quality of room. I would highly recommend this property for ASQ for Bonvoy members due to the nights and points, but this is a great ASQ hotel for anyone who has to go through the process.

Thank you Courtyard Marriott BKK for a great experience. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of downtown and the rates are very affordable. The hotel staff and customer service, however, was most memorable and was beyond expectations, especially the staff in the Executive lounge (Special thanks to Ms.Nook, Oil, Kae, Bai-Toei, and the trainees). The hotel staff were all attentive and professional. The food quality was great and the lounge offers a broad variety of selections. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel as a second home on your travels to BKK.

Courtyard by Marriott is all you need for your 15 days quarantine in Bangkok, Thailand. The hotel provides such great services. The food was my favorite here. You can choose from international to local set menus that come with choices of drinks. The quality was great and tasted so delicious. The room was very clean, spacious, and very bright with sunlight shining through. There were plenty of toiletries, clean and fresh towels, slippers, and even a yoga mat available. The staff was very caring and attentive to your needs. The price was so reasonable compared to the quality of service you receive. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was more like a mini-holiday than a painful 15 days of quarantine. Come to try and prove that I am right :)

I just spent the last 14.5 days at the Courtyard Marriott, one of the official quarantine hotels in Thailand. Annie and her colleagues provided perfect service, so good that I plan to return with gratuity money for the staff to split (as I could not get currency at the airport on arrival, given the strictness of the Covid process). Quarantine has the potential to be truly awful, but the Courtyard management and staff have thought of everything. They are the Singapore Airlines of quarantine! What made the stay so good? Arrival, departure, and testing was done efficiently and with good humour. Meals had great variety and taste; they arrived on-time. The room and all food items looked perfectly clean: And when they clean the room of my neighbour who departed, they must have spent 90 minutes preparing for the next guest. The room was stocked with whatever one required during the stay, but staff were eager to assist and provide top ups if needed. I was able to order an exercise bike and free weights (not free!) as well as an expresso machine. The apps for temperature and food ordering worked well. Staff would phone periodically to see if we were sane! They were super friendly and found ways to do whatever they could to make things as good as possible. This morning, my check out was early, before breakfast, but the catering staff called to see if I would like some coffee or juice before departure. This review maybe short since there are limits on what one can experience during quarantine, but for anyone who needs to travel and to quarantine, I recommend the Courtyard in Bangkok 100%. They have mastered their craft and set the standard. Congratulations to them.

I stayed 3 nights in Renovated Grand Twin Corner room on the 3rd level on the New Year trip. This stay was like being at home, it wasn't too busy, convenient location, and delicious food. Room: A 35-sqm. corner room with larger space, boasting city view. Each guest room is equipped with a large work desk and ergonomically designed chair so you can easily keep up with work while traveling. It was one of the rooms that I was very impressed with. Simple decoration with cozy color tones, Suitable for relaxing or working. When I got in the room, there were three Thai desserts on the table, including a welcome card from the General Manager. That’s make me would like return again. Food and Beverage: Even though I didn't book a room with breakfast. But I choose to have dinner at MOMO café with Thai set menu only 350 THB, which is both delicious and affordable. However, the price of drinking water is quite expensive. Service: Although Courtyard Bangkok is classified as a Classic select hotel, they provide services like Classic Premium hotel, which exceeded my expectations. During our stay, we had a few technological problems, such as being unable to scan the QR code of a Metagix voucher, but they can be resolved well. The Courtyard Bangkok is a hotel that exceeds all expectations for both accommodation and services. If you're looking for a hotel that offers great value and convenient location near BTS station and shopping malls. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this Courtyard! Originally booked a single king but they were able to provide us an upgraded 2 queen room. Service was exceptional: every question or concern was attended to immediately. Staff greet you with a smile at every corner. The rooms were clean, smelled great, and roomy. We’d find towels folded as animals, chocolate, weather cards, welcome letters, etc which provided a personal touch. We also made use of the concierge executive lounge. There was an expansive appetizer selection, dessert, fruit, and drinks. There’s an outdoor balcony seating area as well! Included with my status was free buffet breakfast. Wowza, this was quite the spread!! Made to order egg station and noodle station, several Thai dishes and western options that change daily, fresh fruit, juices/smoothies, and other standard staples. There are several convenience stores within walking distance.

Dear Wendy K, Yes, you heard correct. The executive lounge at the Courtyard Bangkok is permanently closed since 2020. As a select brand, having executive lounge is not a brand requirement and hence we have opted out having a lounge. For our Platinum elite members and above we provide welcome gift with a choice of 500 bonus points or $10 F&B credit per day or buffet breakfast. Further our Platinum Elite members and above also may enjoy one beverage per person daily at the MoMo bar as an added benefit. Hope I am able to clarify your question. Warmest regards, Debdyuti Dasgupta General Manager
