How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Vintage Al Caiola
I have been an unabashed fan of Al Caiola since I was sixteen years old in 1968. I have most of his albums and listen to at least one of them every week. This is an excellent collection of his music - 40 tracks is something of a bonus. I do think however that this is not as good an album as "Bonanza! 1960-1969" but this is from a quality control perspective. The last track on disc 2 is "Two Guitars" and at the end of the track when you expect to hear silence you hear a loud sustained hiss. Now I am not sure if this is typical of all sets of this album or if I was the only lucky one. Regardless of that the music itself is magic and the Al Caiola signature pieces are just beautiful. If you would like to have some of this man's music in your collection you could do a lot worse than buy this album.

We all loved it. The sound it's great you won't have to touch your remote to up or down to listen to it.

I could make a digital copy of the Disc 1 with no problem, but could not make a digital copy of the Disc 2 because it was second generation copy prohibiting digital copy. I could make an analog copy only of the Disc 2.

Bought for a Uncle, fan of Al Caiola's music, it has many songs and the sound quality is very good. He really liked the 40 songs in the 2 disc this collection has.

Feeling young again.

We owned this music of AL CAIOLA on LP's many years ago. Listening to them again and been able to have them on CD is just great! Stirred up many good memories and made us forget that the years are passing swiftly. Such good music!

Al Caiola, brilliant guitariste de studio
Reviewed in France on August 5, 2011
Do You Love Me ? est no 16 et Rambling Rose no 17.
C'est un agréable disque easy listening, excepté les no 5, 6, 8, 13 et 17 du premier CD où quand la guitare n'a plus le son que tous ses amoureux aiment.

Al Caiola's 40 Exitos

So pleased I managed ti find this recording which I ordered alongside his Hawaain music which is so tranquillising with background accompaniment which takes one back to the music of the 1950's/60's. Highly recommendable to anyone who loves Al Caiola's interpretations
