Up Your Legs Forever is a statement on how we're all alike created by Yōko Ono and John Lennon. It's over an hour of the camera panning up people's legs, over 300 people total. Each pan takes about five seconds and goes from their feet to just below their crotch. The camera pan is constant and never changes. It's incredibly simple and that matches the simple statement. It feels more like an installation piece than something that is meant to be watched in full.
The most interesting part is the constant collage of recorded audio playing. It's audio from the day they filmed this. It's not scripted or uniform, just random conversations and interactions between the people being filmed and…
