Long walk up the hill from the centre of freising, but worth it. Food was excellent as well as beer. We ate down in the cellar. Also some of the cleanest toilets seen in local restaurants

This well doe museum is exhibiting a lot of clerical history. It goes back over a thousand years of christianity in bavaria.

Stayed at the Marriott Munich Airport due to an early morning flight. Hotel recommended this brewery for dinner our first night. Excellent! Food and the beer-oldest brewery in the world (1020)!
We liked our evening, beer and food so much that we went back our second night for an equally good experience! Reservation suggested.

The outside is pretty, but the inside is spectacular. No cost to visit and this was our top attraction in Freising.

I was there on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet. There is a lot of construction going on right now. The town is charming and the street-side cafes were full of people. I enjoyed a Radler and some dessert at one of them.

We have had a conference for a couple days. Lot of space and friendly staff. Perfect for seminars and conferences or offsite meetings.. very easy access via the highway and very green and natural in Bavaria.
    Lovely place

This church was within the diocese of the former Pope Benedict. The hike up the hill can be challenging for some. The church is beautiful and worth seeing.

this little restaurant is always busy, and no wonder, with the great wine selection (and very reasonable prices), great service and tastey homemade like food (vegan/ vegetarian) ! When the weather is nice, you can sit in the courtyard, otherwise inside is an option, simply decorated but everything is done with tlc! Gotta love it!

This was another great garden to visit for those who enjoy nature. Most of the plants are labelled. We did this as a part of our nature and culture walk. These are easy to find as all are signposted on the walk.
