- Edited one year agoMy personal favorite Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack release. The bonus tracks featuring Christine Perfect (McVie) RIP really add to this great issue. Telling Your Fortune👍
- Edited 7 years agoThe fourth Chicken Shack album (the second after Perfect departure) out in 1970 is more hard blues rock than before. Stan guitar is more present than on "100 Ton" and the band sound is more contaminated. Featuring gems like the opening "Diary of your life", "Tired Eyes" with strings on it, the different "Some Other Time" and the rock pop of "You knew You Did You Did" the album has some guitar and bass strong lines all over. The last album before Stan completely changed the lineup to a trio.
