Graduated from Westminster.
Pros - high level education, nice and caring teachers, wonderful facilities, fun sports
Cons - very few college credit opportunities, no school sponsored dances, homecomings, or proms, administration does not address drinking and drug and other problems, somewhat of a fake Christian environment, students are not held to any standard of acceptable behavior
The administration empowers the students who are not living a Christian life by allowing them to play sports, have roles in plays and leadership roles. The worst students will be the younger students role models.
Quality education, very low on Christian values and morals.

I have attended Westminster since 7th grade. I have participated in various clubs, formed new clubs, played multiple sports at the Varsity level, and taken all honors classes. Out of all the opportunities that Westminster has presented me to partake in those activities, the people at Westminster are by far the most beneficial part of the experience. The students and the teachers pour into you as an individual and want you to succeed. It is a positive life-changing experience that I would recommend to any Christian parents and kids.
Westminster is seemingly one of the best schools in the St. Louis area. Though I feel my children are receiving a great education, I am sad that they are not living the Biblical truths that the school claims to be based upon. The majority of the student body are heavily involved in partying, drugs, alcohol and sex even at the middle school level. The administration does nothing to set the standard high and therefore students who do live a Christian life are actually bullied and ostracized. The administration blames their lack of effort on society which is a sad cop out. As a parent, I am unwilling to accept this excuse at the cost of $18,000 per year. If I had been aware of this, I would have chosen more wisely. College has turned out to actually be a safer environment than Westminster.
