The Bridgerton Brothers are the Regency-Era Boy Band We Never Knew We Needed
Dearest readers, we didn't think we needed another reason to burn for the Bridgerton brothers, yet we found one. Not only are Jonathan Bailey, Luke Thompson and Luke Newton—who play Anthony, Benedict and Colin Bridgerton on the Netflix period drama—dashing, but they also have voices that can make one swoon.
Back in January 2021, Bailey shared a video of himself and his onscreen brothers performing an a cappella cover of Elvis Presely's "Can't Help Falling in Love"...however it is us, and other Instagram users, who fell deeper in love with the trio after watching.
Newton revealed in a video shared by Netflix in 2022 that he, Bailey and Thompson have a WhatsApp group called Bridgerton Bros. that the actors originally used to send harmonies to each other.

"When we had a lot of time on Season 1, we would do songs together like sing three part harmony. Luke's very musical, so he would write out harmonies for each of us, and I would always take the melody because it's the easiest job. Johnny would like take the top line. Luke would take the bottom line and we just like worked on songs," Newton said.
He added, "At first, I think it was like really charming and the crew kind of loved it. And then after like, six hours of it, they'd be like, 'Oh my god. We've heard this song like 50 times.'"...they can serenade us any day.

Jonathan Bailey
Before playing the Viscount on Bridgerton, Bailey performed on the West End. In 2018, Bailey starred in a West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company and took home the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the musical. The actor's credits also include The Last Five Years, American Psycho the Musical and Les Miserables.
Luke Thompson
Newton has praised his Netflixco-star calling Thompson "very musical." The second Bridgerton brother, who graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2013 and has appeared in the film Dunkirk and stage productions of King Lear, Hamlet, and Oresteia, is said to be a skilled tenor and high-skilled at the piano.
In 2013, Thompson told the Evening Standard, "I’m on a mission at the moment to get a piano,” adding, “I used to play loads and I’d love to start that up again.”
Luke Newton
According to What to Watch, Netwon is quoted as saying, "I come from a musical theatre and singing background and both of my aunts were in West End shows, so I was brought up going to see them in musicals." Bridgerton fans might recall that Colin showed off his vocal skills in the Season 1 finale (43:20 mark) singing "Let the Catch and Toast Go Round."
Newton has previously told F.Y! that if he wasn't an actor, he probably would have wanted to be a singer. "I grew up listening to Elvis with my Nan. I spent a lot of time singing and still use my voice from time to time – I do so in the last episode of Bridgerton," he said, referencing the Season 1 finale. "Acting has always been my main passion but I’d love to combine the two and play a singer at some point."
Years before the Netflix drama, Newton appeared on the 2016 soundtrack for Disney's musical series The Lodge, which he also starred in. He was also an understudy in the original London production of The Book of Mormon, per The Independent. Several videos of the actor performing cover songs like "Guns and Ships" from Hamilton and "Shallow" from A Star Is Born, have been shared on YouTube (Watch them here).
