I'm only 15 and this movie has to be my favorite animated movie of all time. Its animation techniques are absolutely glorious and mesmerizing, the plot is hilariously compelling and Hugh Grant put so much personality into the Pirate Captain. Its charm is absolutely unmatched! There is absolutely nothing bad about this movie and it will always be my personal favorite. Not to mention that when I saw this movie I was going through a though time because a girl I had really loved turned me down. I came home from school that day and my dad was at work late and my mom had to go do something with my sister and my brother was at a rehearsal, which left me home alone. That's when I got the idea to watch the pirates. My brother had told me about it a week earlier and after I watched it, I wasn't worried about the girl turning me down, because I had just watched the greatest movie I've ever seen and nothing else seemed to matter.
