Year 3 Transition 2024

This week at the College, Year 3 had their first taste of Prep school as they were invited to have lunch in the Prep dining hall. This was an opportunity for Year 3 pupils to experience what lies ahead and hopefully ease any fears they may have about leaving the Pre-Prep school.

They were welcomed by Mr Rodman, Head of Year 4 and the rest of the Year 4 teachers. Year 3 then were introduced to Year 4 who sat with them and explained how lunch in the Prep dining hall works while answering questions about what Year 3 could expect. These lunches will happen more often as we reach the end of the year so that pupils feel more and more comfortable with their new surroundings and prepared for the transition from Pre Prep to Prep.
