Alum’s data cleaning startup lands $2M to grow business
Artemis Data has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding to make data cleaning 50 times faster than traditional methods.
Co-founded by William Shi (BASc ’23, mechanical and mechatronics engineering), the company’s software automates the data cleaning process for improved outcomes with artificial intelligence (AI).
Prof recognized by American Iron and Steel Institute
Dr. Michael Worswick has received the Market Development Industry Leadership Award from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing the competitive use of steel in the marketplace.
Pearl Sullivan award winner announced
Zoey Zhang (BASc '24, biomedical engineering) is the recipient of the 2024 Pearl Sullivan Emerging Global Leaders Award.
Zhang was recognised for her dedication to fostering community and advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the engineering field.
