About the author (1989)

Lois Bourne, married with two grown-up sons, lives in Hertfordshire, a county which has many historical associations with witchcraft. She enjoys cultivating her garden which is graced by a stature of the God Pan. When not engaged in lecturing and psychic work, her hobbies are sleeping, collecting antiques, and listening to classical music. She is a nature and animal lover and enjoys walking and meditating in the countryside. An avid reader of non-fiction, seeking always to increase her knowledge, she also enjoys house-keeping but admits to being an indifferent cook and almost vegetarian in eating habits. Fast driving of sports cars is her only obsession and having achieved her main ambition, to become a grandmother, she now merely wishes to grow old gracefully.
