- Fictional CharacterThe Flash is a fictional superhero in the DC Comics universe. He is the second character known as the Flash. The character first appeared in Showcase #4, created by writer Robert Kanigher and penciler Carmine Infantino. His name combines talk show hosts Barry Gray and Steve Allen. His death in 1985 in Crisis on Infinite Earths removed the character from the regular DC lineup for 23 years. His return to regular comics occurred subsequently in 2008 within the pages of Grant Morrison's Final Crisis and Geoff Johns' The Flash: Rebirth limited series. In 2011, Allen played a key role of the crossover mini-series Flashpoint, which resulted in another reboot of the DC Comics continuity, known as "The New 52".

His paternal grandmother, Iris West Allen, is also the adoptive aunt of the first Kid Flash, Wally West. Additionally, Bart is the first cousin of XS, a Legionnaire and daughter of Dawn Allen.

Young Justice: Legacy features support for single-player and multiplayer modes. - Computer GameMortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is a crossover fighting game between Mortal Kombat and the DC Comics fictional universe, developed by Midway Games and Warner Bros. The GBA version is titled Justice League Heroes: The Flash and focused primarily on The Flash. The game featured 2D sidescrolling action gameplay and a sidestory to the console game's plot.
