I think the worst part was the lack of preparing students for college, they do it well for AP students but not for the average students. I believe that although the school has some good for sports/ athletics , they don't really fund many other clubs nor do they actually have many clubs.
I didn't truly enjoy coming to school until my junior year when I was able to pick the classes that I wanted to take. What was so amazing was all of the options and opportunities that I was given in school and what I was able to take. I was able to do Pottery, Psychology, Digital Business, and Law Enforcement all at the same time. I was beyond grateful and thankful for the opportunities I was given.
If you ever had any sort of question or problem with looking into colleges, applying for colleges, or not even knowing where to start, they were able to get you the help that you needed. They would always meet you where you're at.
The decisionmaking of the faculty as a whole and the way that they decide what decisions or changes are made for the school should involve the students more and time input of the students because they are the ones that are going to be affected the most and that was and still is a problem.

There were a lot of good teachers within the school system who truly impacted my life. However, the educational coordinators were not all up to par in my first couple years. All of these issues have since been sorted out. The school now runs verry smooth, and the teachers and people there are all very kind and understanding. They offer a wide array of business, art, technological, and AP classes throughout the schooling system. The school also features a career center which is unlike any in the surrounding areas. There is also close proximity to the nearby college making it easy to take higher courses while still in high school. Overall my experience, while bumpy the first few years, has turned out to be extremally helpful in my life after college.
