models/infected/witch.mdl

For some reason when ever i go to play single player with or without a witch workshop mod it brings up "Server is enforcing consistency for this file: models/infected/witch.mdl" normally I would just deselect the addon and I would be fine but now even when I don't have any witch addon on it says that does anyone know how to fix this?

Library>L4D2>properties>local files

its an uncommon/rare bug for me atleast

just gotta res your game if not then validate your game like mentiond before and if that odsnt work then no idea

If validating your game files does not work, you'll want to unsubscribe from all of your addons and fully reinstall the game.

For single player, you can also use the in-game console command sv_consistency 0
Please note it won't work on other servers and you might have to use the other suggestions above.

when I go to the console in steam is says that sv_consistency command was not found

I've had a workshop mod "bleed" over to my base game before, try verifying game files like others said or doing a complete re-install of L4D2
