What's the deal with Royal Palace, that strip club just north of Dupont?

That place is gross. But if you literally want a vagina in your face, it's the go to place. They hold nothing back there.
Some of the dancers used to come to my old bar for post shift drinks, they were nice, tipped well. They also had some pretty funny stories.
Had a dancer there grab my crotch one time many moons ago. She said I was shy she should take me in the back and expletive.
and shit?
No one goes in the FRONT door. Who says they only have to have one business?
super close to a Ruth Chris and the Hilton.
Think out-of-towners her of business with a per-diem.
Also pretty close to Russia house.
The money hours in a strip club tend to be late at night.
I've been in there a few times, daytimes it's pretty thin...
After about 8-9 it does a decent trade.
It is a throwback to a time where that area was much seedier.
Also think of the irony that Regan got shot steps from a nudie bar.
So Regan sucked and all, but I don't think there's any real irony in what your saying.
see the moral majority and the Meese commission.
Still not much irony there.
There's a bar upstairs that they also own/are connected to.
Royal Palace is probably the most seedy stripclub I've been to.. I knew a girl who worked there and she said plenty of the girls offer extras.
Used to go in the 90s when I was a yout. Doubt its changed one bit and I too am surprised it's still there. Dupont was quite a different place then too so it made more sense than it's current incongruousness.
Could be like Dan's cafe where they own the building and only need to cover property tax.
Just drove by there tonight and was thinking the exact same thing.
God I went there once because i live a block away and was curious. It was 40 year old chubby hispanic woman. No cover at a strip club is a red flag. Honestly it is probably a drug front.
Camelot doesn't charge a cover. Or so I have heard. No I haven't been there. Nope, not even once.
