THE SHOW IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! Welcome to Overture Center for the Arts’ 2021/22 season! We are thrilled to welcome you back to your home for the arts. All of us at Overture Center appreciate your patience and support throughout the pandemic. Digital performances and programs kept us connected in different ways, and while we’re grateful to have been able to keep our mission active in the community, it was no replacement for seeing you in person. Since the announcement of our 2021/22 fall and winter shows a few months ago, we’ve continued to lock in more extraordinary performances. This catalog now spans our entire season and includes 15 more shows than version 1 released in May. We’re confident you’re going to love our 2021/22 lineup. See what moves you! Whether you enjoy dance, comedy or music, you’re sure to find several options that will draw you back to the theater. Order tickets to our popular Broadway at Overture and National Geographic Live series and select as many shows as you’d like from our Overture Presents performances. Plus, new this year, you’ll receive a discount on multi-show purchases (see page 28 for details). Our hearts are bursting with gratitude for the thousands of fans who have supported us during our closure and set the stage for a successful reopening. We have a long road ahead, but Overture Center is on its way to recovery. We invite you to get your tickets now and be a part of our bright future. WHY SUPPORT

RESIDENT

LIVE ARTS?

C O M PA N I ES

“ There is an emptiness you feel when you’re not able to participate in live art. Humanity cannot survive without it. Therefore, supporting Overture is feeding your soul,” said Gail Becker, director of the Jerry Ensemble. “It’s more than investing in a building and shows. You are nurturing yourself, nourishing your own soul.”

Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society

“ Overture is really important to this community,” said Sarah Karlen, theater director at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison. “ Overture’s community outreach and education programs are even more important than its Broadway shows. The free and low-cost programs get kids to come to Overture when most wouldn’t otherwise have that chance. It opens young people up to the arts in ways we wouldn’t have if not for Overture.”

Kanopy Dance Company

“ I highly recommend other companies sponsor Overture Center.
