Slumber Party Massacre II really aims, or at least I hope, for the "too bad is good" with a lot of over-the-top random moments. This is especially visible with the killer who suddenly appears at the slumber party, kills teenagers, and then takes a break to dance and sing in his old rock'n'roll costume, he also speaks only in one-liners from classic rock songs. Well, he is ridiculous but that makes him the best part of the movie, the actor is all game and, as the rest of the cast, you can feel the fun that he has. There is a lot of nothing happening there for three-quarters of the movie, with the heroine just having hallucinations and the other protagonists calling her crazy. The visions can be fun but they are not enough to keep the movie interesting. The killing spree just happened in the last 10 minutes maybe. It's intense but too short and too late. There are some musical numbers throughout the movie, one in particular from the killer which is very random. It's actually fun and gives a rock'n'roll vibe to the whole movie that I found pretty refreshing. Also, there is a lot of eye contact with the camera here, it feels weird.
