Held in Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park, the four-day music, camping, and art festival will feature over 30 top bluegrass, folk and Americana acts.

Stidham Old Time Music Gathering

July 28 – 29, 2023

Tomahawk, Kentucky

Held at the James E. Webb Musical Repair and Sales near Inez, Kentucky.

Live Performances Friday and Saturday night starting at 7 pm with workshops.

Adult and youth banjo, fiddle, and string band contests with cash prizes starting at 10 am on Saturday.

There is plenty of room to camp and stay on the property.

Fraley Festival of Traditional Music

Olive Hill, Kentucky

The Fraley Festival of Traditional Music happens the weekend after Labor Day at Carter Caves State Resort Park. It is a weekend gathering of people who love to play and listen to traditional mountain music of Eastern Kentucky. People with fiddles, banjos, folk songs, ballads, guitars, dulcimers, and autoharps play on the amphitheater stage, in the parking lot, in the campgrounds and cabins, continuing the celebration of the rich tradition of music from J.P. and Annadeene Fraley and the many others who have come to the festival over the years.
