Scott Disick is navigating his co-parenting relationship with ex Kourtney Kardashian, in the wake of her giving birth to her first child with husband Travis Barker last month.
Kardashian and Barker welcomed the arrival of a baby boy, whom they named Rocky, on November 1. Kardashian also has three children with Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 12, and Reign, nine.
“Scott is doing his best to keep things balanced in terms of co-parenting and making sure to be present and communicative,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s continuing to fulfill all his responsibilities and be a great father to his kids.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian and Barker’s blended family is also reportedly overjoyed with the new addition of their baby brother. (Barker shares 17-year-old daughter Alabama, 20-year-old son Landon, and 24-year-old stepdaughter Atiana with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.)
“They are so grateful that their baby boy is healthy and that both sets of kids get along,” the source continued. “It’s been so much fun for all of them to have a baby brother around and something new that they can all share together. Each of them have a special bond with Rocky in their own unique ways.”
The source added that the Kardashian-Jenner clan has also been busy lending a helping hand with the newborn: “Kourtney’s family is also always coming over, and her sisters and Kris are all very hands-on and helpful.”
While Kardashian is maintaining a healthy co-parenting dynamic with Disick, the source says her bond with husband Barker has only strengthened.
“Kourtney and Travis are over the moon and could not be more elated that they share a child of their own together,” the insider told the outlet. “Kourtney and Travis already had an unbreakable bond, but having a baby together has brought them even closer and made them fall even more in love. This experience has solidified their feelings that they were destined to be together.”
