This hotel is located in a very convenient location. There is an MTR station underground which is accessible from multiple exits, both on the street and through the shopping centre under the lobby. The hotel is a short walk from the harbour, art museum, Harbourview shopping centre, Avenue of Stars, iSquare shopping centre, and many other shopping and attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes so your food options aren't limited to what's available at the hotel.

This hotel does not have a pool or gym, but I heard that you can pay a fee to use the facilities over at the YMCA across the street. I was lucky enough to stay on the 13th floor where my view from my window was the pool at the Peninsula Hotel. It's a beautiful hotel, but it's painful to watch other people enjoy the pool while I have no pool in my hotel.

The hotel has very many elevators so there's never more than a minute wait for the elevator throughout the day. The room itself is pretty small, but that's expected for being in Hong Kong. There are no luggage racks so be prepared to leave your suitcases on the ground near the desk. The hotel does sell outlet adapters if you forget to bring your own. There are two outlets in the room that work with USA plugs, but the rest of the outlets in the room are for HK plugs.

The hotel offers free wifi for 2 devices per room and resets every 24 hours. I never had issues with the wifi because I only used my laptop to connect to the wifi, however, my sister was having issues with connectivity to her phone and had to call for help.

Whenever we needed something, the front desk always picked up the calls quickly and would send someone to the room right away. The only thing that we found frustrating was that we would call housekeeping to let them know about an issue (needing extra towels or the safe stopped working) and they would send a housekeeper to the room to ask what we needed and we would have to repeat what we already said over the phone. They would leave and come back again when they could have brought the towels with them the first time or sent the mechanic person the first time around. It just felt like they were doing all these extra steps when the issues could have been resolved faster if they had just done things a little differently.

Overall I thought the hotel was in a great location, clean, and had pretty good service.

My family and I stayed a couple of nights in a row. The location of the hotel is great! It is located right next to the MTR station, close to the ferry that goes to Central, and not too far from many shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable when we arrived and the staff cleaned it well again the next day. We didn't go to the restaurants or cafes in the hotel. The choices are endless in that area. The fridge in our room was empty and could fit at least 6 big bottles of San Pellegrino, which was a nice treat for us. All in all, I would highly recommend staying at that hotel. My family and I are always out and about, and really enjoy having a place to stay and relax after a day in the city without paying too much per night.

The Check in Christy got me to write a good review by enticing me with a free room upgrade and a afternoon tea

I wrote it thinking it was a good start but turns out the so called room upgrade was the same size room with just a slight seaview covered by buildings.

Toilet door was defective and the double bed was tiny we had a hard time sleeping.

The staff at the restaurant lack any discipline and client courtesy and were talking and laughing loud among themselves in front of us as it was a a very annoying and disturbing tea set experience and once again at the breakfast.

I paid for a buffett breakfast but they short changed me and told me it was just a small set breakfast which was a huge let down ! I emphasized this to check in Christy but she did nothing about it.

Honestly I would never come back to this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Worse hotel I ever stayed in HK in 12 years visiting: wifi in the room is horrible! You can’t call, or do anything because it keeps losing signal! The staff did nothing to solve the problem! I mean, if you can’t have internet working in the room is already ridiculous.
Breakfast is horrible! Pancakes taste like fish, croassans/ danish are old, fried egg was raw, I can continue…I mean.. if they can’t even fry a egg you can figure. We request one glass of milk to mix with coffe and the staff didn’t want to give us!! We pay for 3 days breakfast but other 2 days we went outside..
The service is not very friendly / not wiling to help. We ask help to call taxi and explain the address to the driver, the staff only call taxi and told driver the general location but not help to explain address and we end up far away from real destination. We ask for 2 separated beds, but beds are 3 cm apart, it is too close so basically beds are not separated! The bathroom door is a glass door, so if you are looking to share room with a friend look for another hotel so you can have at lease some privacy using toilet! I do not recomend this hotel, there are much better options in HK!

Right behind the famous Peninsula Hotel, but a fraction of the price, is the great Kowloon hotel. Always well served by Kelvin, Candy, Yau, Caen, and Cherub. Not too big to be impersonal, but not too small, it’s always delivered great location and price. Comfy but cozy rooms, just enough but not too much.

We’ve stayed twice in the Kowloon in the past year, likely will again. It’s conveniently located, with an MTR entrance from within lobby, easy walking distance to abundant food/drink/shopping and the ferry terminal. We found the staff helpful and courteous; our couple of front-desk requests were promptly handled. Rooms include one US/Japan-style electrical outlet, handy if you didn't bring enough adapters, as well as a safe & refrigerator. Free wi-fi speeds were in the low/mid double digits, but limited to 2 devices per room. TV was on the small side. Some rooms have harbor views down Nathan Road and Hankow Road. A free shuttle bus to Kowloon Station for Airport Express connections picks up across the street.

A lovely hotel, good location near Victoria Harbour and shopping district. We took a hop on and hop off tour to see Kowloon, Hong Kong and Stanley, we also took the ferry over and back. Great service but very expensive @$150 AUD for one adult and child. Hotel room was so small that we couldn’t put our suitcases on the floor and open. Room was nice and modern. The vanity and toilet a little low. Staff was very helpful with the adapter for charging my phone and iPad and also with luggage. I would stay again but only if I have a few more days to spend in Hong Kong for an overnight stay, a bit too much hassling around.

We booked the room with official website at a very low rate - buy two nights get a free night. The room is clean, staff are helpful.
The television in our room was found not able to use HDMI, the technicians came and checked. They immediately changed a good one for us within 15 minutes.
Dickson from Front Desk is very polite and helpful. The carriage was sent to our room right after I requested at front desk. He could also able to address me when I went down to get the takeaway on the second day of my visit. This personalized services made our stay more pleasant.
The room is a little bit small, but it is in a valuable price.

One if the best 4-star hotels in Hong Kong. It's in the middle of TST (very convenient, just straight out from L3/L4 exit). I got a standard room but it turns out very spacious and comfortable for such a cheap price. There is a working desk with a comfortable chain beside the window, which is perfect for someone who carries work every where. I stayed in another hotel (one of the iclub), the standard room has no desk and there's a useless super big sofa for nothing but wasting the space.

The room is pretty much soundproof because I heard kids laughing and singing while walking in the hallway. But then when I entered my room, I hear nothing at all.

The bathroom has a bathtub. It's not very deep but enough to enjoy a warm bath. Very very nice. And the toothpaste is good. I have been to a place where the toothpaste just taste awful.

I'm so happy that their teaset has green tea!!! It's so rare because most hotels would give you either English breakfast or Jasmin tea.

I booked the room with a buffet lunch at the Window's cafe. The food is super tasty. It has wide variety of food. Their seafood is of quality and their desserts are super super yummy. The bbq pork and their beef are the best.

Everything is worth it. If you're coming with a family with kids, definitely check out their lunch buffet.
