We stayed for 12 days in January. We were looking for a small, quiet, all inclusive hotel that would be friendly and relaxing. We certainly found that. And more!! We made so many new friends amongst the guests during our stay but the staff also treated us like their friends whilst being very professional in their jobs. I am not sure how they do that but they do!! Miriam looked after me from the first breakfast. It was great to be welcomed every mealtime.Sylvia was delightful! There are many staff so it is difficult to pick a few out but the water sports boys provided Pete with 12 days of fun sailing snorkelling and kayaking. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The chefs looked after my dietary allergies and Harry always had food prepared especially for me without any fuss.…

Hi Glynis Lovely to hear from you and to receive lovely feedback when you have only just got home. I really appreciate your comments and am so glad that we exceeded expectations. Your social group has continued after you left but I am sure they missed you gathering everyone together at dinner! Hope to see you both again soon, you were lovely guests to have with us, Best wishes Judith

We had a great 10 day stay. The hotel sits within a beautiful garden, has a wonderful, elegant beachside restaurant. The rooms are little cottages dotted around the grounds. exceptionally good food, and a lovely beach. But the key is the staff. Not just professional, but individually charming. You end up making genuine friends with them all. Just one example was the lovely Sylvia, barely one month into her work at Eastwinds, but sweet, professional and engaging with us. I must also mention Nikita who genuinely "fixed my back" after a single Pilates instruction. Wow!, that was worth the entire stay, and I mean that. Overall Eastwinds is relaxing, gentle, peaceful, quiet and throughly de-stressing. Top marks.

My family and I went to East Winds for my sisters wedding. We were there for ten days. From day one the service was impeccable. All the staff were incredible friendly; nothing was too much. My partner is a strict vegetarian with other dietary requirements. On the first evening, the head chef came out to discuss his needs for the stay! He was always catered for, there were times when he had some meals cooked especially for him!! The food was awesome. The BBQ twice a week was a treat, there was always a meat, fish and seafood choice. I was always stocked up on those amazing king prawns! Main meals where four courses with plenty of options. Alcohol was in abundance. Champagne is now my favourite beverage 😃 We were originally booked into the superior room. Which was lovely and…

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Eastwinds Inn. We have stayed twice at another resort but this is relaxation, tranquillity and an amazing place. A big thank you to Simeon for getting us on the sunset cruise, Windel for the "shaving cream" song and Septima for the cocktail of the day on the beach. Just a few names to mention but so many to mention and thank. Big compliment to the chefs and kitchen staff for the amazing food throughout the stay - A big thank you to Judith and Andy for making us feel at home to seeing us off at the end. Great team and great staff. A huge thank you

This was my 11th trip to St. Lucia and East Winds truly is a hidden gem. I'm shamefaced to admit but I hadn't heard of it before this trip! I can't even believe it. We stayed for three nights and it was one of the most relaxing places we've been on the whole island. The rooms are actually cottages, so that's fun and intimate. The scenery is gorgeous as all the cottages are set amongst some of the prettiest / lushest gardens ever. The beach is fantastic and you never have to fight for a chair and the swim-up bar at the pool is the perfect place to chit chat to the other guests there. We're not even engaged yet, but East Winds is so romantic I can imagine popping the question here for having the most gorgeous wedding ever (there are SO many picture perfect spots) and then…

We were a little apprehensive about what we might find, following the change in management since our last visit. We needn't have worried as the new management team, led by Judith Milne, are keen to ensure they are meeting the needs of guests. They are in the process of sympathetically refurbishing, where necessary, whilst asking guests for their thoughts and views on any changes taking place. Our room on arrival had been decorated with hibiscus flowers and was an absolute picture - we didn't want to spoil it by going to bed! Whilst at the hotel we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary and had a delicious dinner in one of the beach gazebos that had also been decorated for the event. A memorable evening indeed! Throughout our stay, all the staff went out of their way to ensure…

Well, what can I say, which hasn't been said already? An absolutely perfect location for our "Holwedmoon" (holiday, wedding and honeymoon). The accommodation was fantastic. The staff genuinely lovely and friendly. The food superb and the grounds were immaculate. Our whole stay was a delight. The cottage rooms are set in the grounds of the resort, whilst the ocean view rooms overlook the sea. We stayed in both types as our ocean view room wasn't quite ready due to refurbishment, and we actually preferred the cottage rooms - more space and bigger bathrooms. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our beach wedding went ahead as planned, despite the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew had flooded parts of the gardens. A massive thank you to all involved. We really did…

This was definitely a location for the middle-aged/older couple, but it doesn't mean it wasn't good fun. I went with my family for my mum's 60th birthday and me and my sister (both mid-20s) were by far the youngest there - but this didn't detract from the experience. The rooms and bathroom were beautiful, and we were given complimentary champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The beach was lovely and the dining area was too, with live music in the evenings to accompany dinner (although this sometimes made conversation a little difficult). The staff were amazing - they went above and beyond to make my mum's birthday extra special; making a cake, creating a personalised dinner menu, decorating our table in the evening and organising another cake on the sunset cruise we went on.

We had yet another fabulous lunch at East Winds on Thursday. The food was excellent, as usual, and the staff friendly and attentive, especially Elie, Kirby and Giovanni. We always try to come here at least once while on the island and we are never let down. Full marks once again - keep up the great work East Winds!!

The system for tipping has changed. Last year we left cash in an envelope at reception. This year we added a gratuity to our final invoice (which covered transfers and excursions). Therebis a refreshing lack of expectation for tips, so you don't get the ugly attitudes you find elsewhere when the staff just give the impression that they're angling for tips. Here the staff, all the staff, come across as genuinely friendly.
The connecting Deluxe cottages are sold as 2-bedroom cottages. There are 3 sets that are connected from the patio.
It is possible to request a room without a door.
Lunch is a buffet style so you can mix and match as you like. There are snack style choices eg wraps, sandwich etc from the bar and can be served on the beach/by the pool. It's all great food. You'll enjoy. They happily cater for both food intolerance and personal likes/dislikes if you chat with them.
