Edward Norris was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Norris started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Rochelle Hudson crime flick "Show Them No Mercy" (1935), "The Wagon Trail" (1935) and the drama "The Magnificent Brute" (1936) with Victor McLaglen. He also appeared in "Between Two Women" (1937), the drama "Boys Town" (1938) with Spencer Tracy and the Margaret Lindsay adaptation "On Trial" (1939). His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "Back in the Saddle" (1941) with Gene Autry, the mystery "A Close Call For Ellery Queen" (1942) with William Gargan and the Patric Knowles mystery "Mystery of Marie Roget" (1942). He also appeared in "The Man With Two Lives" (1942). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "Trapped By Boston Blackie" (1948), the Elyse Knox drama "Forgotten Women" (1949) and "The Wolf Hunters" (1949) with Kirby Grant. He also appeared in the Roddy McDowall action flick "Killer Shark" (1950) and "Blazing Sun" (1950). Norris was most recently credited in "Vice" (HBO, 2012-). Norris passed away in December 2002 at the age of 91.
