96% Tomatometer 155 Reviews 90% Audience Score 1,000+ Ratings Eve's life as a spy is not adding up to what she had hoped it would be when she started. She is a bored, very smart, MI5 security officer who is very desk-bound. Villanelle is a very talented killer, mercurial in mood, who clings to the luxuries of her job. Eve and Villanelle go head to head in a fierce game of cat and mouse, each woman equally obsessed with the other as Eve is tasked with hunting down the psychopathic assassin. Sarah Barnett, BBCA president, says, "'Killing Eve' stands out in a sea of scripted stories as refreshingly entertaining and great fun." Read More Read Less Watch on Hulu Stream Now

Scott Bryan BBC.com Phoebe Waller-Bridge is loved because she writes characters and she writes stories that you don't often see on TV. What this drama does, is [that it] goes against all the conventions of a drama that you'd normally expect. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Hannah Giorgis The Atlantic What distinguishes Killing Eve isn't just that Villanelle is a categorically transgressive female character; it's also that she's interesting. Sep 10, 2019 Full Review Eric Deggans NPR Executive producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge subverts every male-centered trope of espionage thrillers as Eve and the assassin play a deadly cat-and-mouse game fueled by their mutual fascination with each other. Dec 17, 2018 Full Review Michael Cuby them. The debut season of Killing Eve came in second on my list of best shows of 2018... Oct 12, 2022 Full Review Valerie Ettenhofer Film School Rejects Killing Eve deserves a spot among the ranks of Jessica Jones and the gone-too-soon MTV series Sweet/Vicious as series that utilize the female gaze. Apr 19, 2021 Full Review David Walsh World Socialist Web Site All in all, despite the presence of some talented performers, Killing Eve is a poor artistic effort, superficial, unconvincing and unenlightening. Mike W Not for me. I see the appeal to a certain kind of audience, but to me this type of humor doesn't work in this genre mix. Also, Sandra Oh seems to play the same character in every movie, narrow range as an actress. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/18/24 Full Review Patrick C clever and entertaining. i am not usually a sandra oh fan but she does a nice job. jodie comer is outstanding and plays the role superbly. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Neil A IF I could give this a negative 10,000 stars I would. If you want to watch a spy show about a psychotic killer killing dozens of innocent people for no reason (outside of their "targets") where the agents assigned to hunt him go after him completely unarmed and get picked off one by one, this is it.. Plot that makes zero sense? Check. A TV show of such complete utter non sense that you would have to be a mentally ill British TV show director to imagine it. GARBAGE. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Wally W I loved 1st season - Kim Bodnia and Jodie Comer stole the show in my opinion. Jodie is believable throughout. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Keith R Could not make it through Season 1. Totally incoherent, toally implausible, neither funny nor tragic. A complete waste of time. Read a good book instead of wasting time on this rubbish. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/24 Full Review Michele G Full of holes. The Russians would not be speaking English with each other. The British would not be allowed free reign in Russia without being closely watched. The list goes on... Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
