My wife and I love Nonna's! It's a frequent date-night choice, and the food, staff, service, and ambiance are top notch. Feels like a short trip to Italy, only 30 minutes drive from our home. Can't recommend it enough!

I had another delightful lunch at Crawford's Social! Sat outside on the spacious patio and enjoyed the delicious Brussel sprouts salad and Vegetable Mezze plate with a friend. Yummy food, generous portions and excellent service! I look forward to lunch there again soon!

My wife and I had a nice Date night dinner at Mastro's in Thousand Oaks last night. I booked the res late on Open Table, so we were seated in an overflow dining room behind the kitchen. That worked out perfectly as the main dining room was quite busy and loud and the overflow dining area was quite a bit quieter, so easier to hold a conversation. There was a nice fireplace that my wife quite enjoyed. Our waiter Michael was very attentive without being overbearing. He was a supreme pro and a pleasure to have take care of us during a fantastic meal. Worth noting was the Raspberry Lemon Drop my wife ordered. The presentation was amazing. The bartender had dropped a bit of dry ice in the glass, so when it was presented, it was bubbling slightly with a foggy mist coming off of the glass. Fantastic! The food was all spot on. I had the Japanese A5 Wagyu steak and it was prepared perfectly. It was melt in your mouth yummy! They have brought back their Scalloped Potatoes which were amazing, especially when paired with their Truffle butter sauteed mixed wild mushrooms that we ordered. My wife had a Shrimp Cocktail app and a house salad & French Onion soup for her entree. She reported that both were fabulous. We finished with a special version of their famous Butter cake that had a Strawberry twist with a Champagne souffle or meringue on top that was light, airy and delightful! It was an awesome meal!
