Someone to Love Me (also known as "Someone to Love Me: A Moment of Truth Movie") is a 1998 television drama film directed by Chuck Bowman which aired on September 14, 1998 on the NBC network.

Plot[]

After her father's sudden death, high school student Cayley Young starts becoming promiscious with the boys at her school which causes her to develop a bad reputation. When she decides to change her behavior, Cayley ends up being raped by a male classmate and presses charges against him.

Critical Reception[]

Maj Canton from Radio Times gave "Someone to Love Me" a one-star rating, stating: "Sadly, good intentions and a social conscience don't justify this sort of simple-minded manipulative drama."

Andy Webb of The Movie Scene wrote: "What makes "Someone to Love Me" slightly stand out from the crowd is both the writing when it comes to the character of Kaley but also Jessica Bowman's performance as it is much better than you might expect from this sort of movie."
