This week’s SmackDown was from France for the first time. It was a packed show that featured bangers even after the show went off-air. In a dark match, Rey Mysterio took on his good friend and bitter rival, Carlito. The two stars had a solid match where the Master of 619 made history.
The story was simple: Rey Mysterio is on a mission to take revenge against Carlito. In a quick and easy turn of events, the Legendary Luchador brought his A-game and defeated the former champion. It was Mysterio’s first win over 45 years old in almost 20 years, after their last match in October 2004.
Although Carlito won their last match two decades ago, the WWE Hall of Famer completed the circle by defeating the Caribbean Bad Apple. A few weeks ago, Santos Escobar exposed the Puerto Rican star by revealing him as Dragon Lee’s attacker.
The 45-year-old star had nothing to say about these allegations and fled away from Mysterio. This week, they finally collided in front of the crowd of Leon. With this victory, the Master of 619 has added another star to his already-stacked resume.
Dominik Mysterio calls Rey Mysterio an a**hole
It is a renowned fact that Dominik Mysterio despises Rey Mysterio wholeheartedly. The father and son have been at loggerheads since the betrayal back in 2022. Speaking of betrayal, recently, a list surfaced on the internet about the superstars who have betrayed the Master of 619 in their careers. Dominik had a stern reply for his dad on the post.
The Judgment Day member replied to the post with a GIF. The GIF said an a**hole. It was remarked by Dominik that his father is a stubborn man who has been knocked off his entire life. The 27-year-old has shared similar kinds of remarks for a long time.
Besides, the two men are on the same brand with their respective factions. The dynamics have become more captivating than ever. LWO has been transferred to Raw, which embarks on a fresh start for the faction led by Rey Mysterio.
