mablethorpe.infoSand Dune is a self-catering holiday chalet on the quieter side of Tingdene Mablethorpe Chalet Park (away from the bar and restaurant). A perfect retreat for couples seeking a relaxing holiday or short break, available to let from March to early January.
Redecorated and refurbished in 2024, the chalet is fully insulated with double glazing and electric heating making it suitable for stays all year round.
Mablethorpe Chalet Park is just across the road from the dog-friendly, sandy beach and a fifteen-minute walk from Mablethorpe Town Centre. You can also save your legs, and take a ride on Mablethorpe’s famous road train, which stops at the end of Lincs Avenue. The Loewen Cinema and Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre are also within walking distance.
Chalet Facilities
- The kitchen area features a fridge freezer, electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. Crockery, Saucepans, cutlery & glasses. There’s a table top ironing board & Iron available for you to use.
- In the lounge area there is a 55” Flat screen TV with Freeview. A comfortable 2 seater sofa with matching stool, plus a swivel chair & stool. Dining table with 2 chairs & coffee table.
- Double bedroom has a 4’ 6” bed & Emma Mattress, fitted wardrobes & cupboards.
- Single bedroom has a single bed & Duvalay mattress. Wardrobe with hanging space & 2 drawers. Hairdryer is located in the single bedroom.
- The shower room has a toilet and sink and shower cubicle.
At the rear of the property, patio doors open onto a fully fenced veranda with artificial grass and garden furniture which overlooks a grassy area. In front there is parking for one car, more places are available close by.
Terms & Conditions
- We typically let to couples, but a third guest may be accommodated by arrangement.
- Minimum stay is 3 nights – Friday-Monday or 4 nights Monday-Friday. 7 night & 14 night bookings also available.
- We allow up to 2 small dogs at no extra charge, but please don’t let them onto the furniture and beds, or leave them alone in the chalet.
- All beds are fully made up.
- Hand towels and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own Beach Towels and do not take towels provided onto the beach.
- Electricity is included, but we do not allow the charging of electric vehicles. Several car parks in Mablethorpe offer EV charging stations.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the chalet.
- BBQ’s are not permitted on Mablethorpe Chalet Park.
Check in is between 4pm and 6pm. You will be greeted at the chalet with the keys, so please ring or text to confirm your time of arrival.
Check out is at 10am and the owner will meet you to collect the keys, enquire if your stay was satisfactory, and answer any questions or queries you may have.
A Deposit of £100 is payable on booking your selected dates which is on top of the rental fee, but will be refunded within 48hrs once the chalet has been checked for any damages or missing items. We know accidents do happen from time to time so we would rather you told us about so we can fix or replace any items.
The park staff on reception are very helpful and have information leaflets on places to visit, entertainment and eateries.
