Bourbon Margarita

5 from 1 vote

I want to tell you all about a cool drink called the Bourbon Margarita. It’s like a regular margarita, but with a twist because we use bourbon instead of tequila. This mix gives it a smooth, sweet taste with a little bit of citrus kick from the lime. It’s perfect for when you want something refreshing but also with a rich flavor. Trust me, once you try it, it’ll become one of your favorites.

The Bourbon Margarita is a special drink with a perfect balance of flavors. When you take a sip, you'll first notice the smooth, rich taste of bourbon. Then, the fresh lime juice adds a bright, tangy twist. The mix of sweet and sour from the orange liqueur makes every sip exciting.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of bourbon
  • 1 ounce of fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce of orange liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce of simple syrup
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Salt for the rim optional

Instructions

  • First, if you like, salt the rim of your glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it in salt.
  • Put ice into your cocktail shaker.
  • Add the bourbon, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake it well until everything is super cold.
  • Strain the drink into your prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel to make it look fancy.
