I've been to this theater many times and never been disappointed. Not a bad seat in the house but I always pick to sit up close. The atmosphere is outstanding and the staff is very helpful. Oh and the price is right on time. I love it because it's close to home and I don't have to worry about traveling to far. Two thumbs up!

Excellent beer, try the Kolsch it is very good and you can have a nice relaxing time on the patio. We all enjoyed the music as well, very comforting and also have a conversation because it was not too loud. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop for a cold one and you'll be glad you did. Prost!!!

Not the prettiest beach I've seen, but it was worth a couple hours to hang out. If beaches aren't your thing, walk out to the small lighthouse.

I have been their a number of times now...on several occasions I have experienced the machine freezing up on a big payout and of course the disclaimer NO PAYOUTS on a malfunction, but this has happened several times NOW!! I am little disgruntled to say the least!!!

This is a perfect park for kids and adults. The play ground they had for kids was one of the nicest I've ever seen. So clean and great walking paths

Great place for our family (with 3 teens) to stop on a hot summer afternoon. Black light mini-golf was a fun way to spend time together; the obstacles move so you can easily increase the challenge for inattentive opponents!

My home backs up to Lyons Woods Forest Preserve and it has 345 acres with trails about four miles of trails throughout. The Forest Preserve is open daily 365 days per year from 6:30 a.m. to sunset. The trails are maintained very well, and the parking lots are meticulous. There are lavatory facilities at the Forest Preserve, but I would avoid using them unless absolutely necessary. On the east side of the Forest Preserve, there is a facility with binoculars to watch birds. I go to Lyons Woods five days a week and either ride my bike or just walk the trails. It's a very nice place and I enjoy it.

Great venue, wonderful acting, fun experience. I took my wife and two fourteen year olds and we all had a great time. Friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere for a cheap price. Highly recommend it.

We took a nice stroll down the pier. About half of our group went all the way out to the light. You could see downtown Chicago from the pier. I found it to be clean but would not recommend taking children out there.

St Mary Catholic Cemetery and Oakwood Cemetery (owned by the City of Waukegan, IL) shares land, but they are indeed two different cemeteries with no indications of where St Mary's ends and Oakwood begins. They also share spectacular background: Lake Michigan. Come here for the sunrise or at the end of the day when sun sets and cast a warm light on stones and monuments.

If you like history especially local history it is a must stop for you.
There are some very famous people resting here.

When you enter St. Mary's Cemetery from Sheridan Road, also referred to as Genesee St., you will find the area on the Northwest side of the road to be predominantly Slovenians and former members of Mother Of God Catholic Church. Mother Of God was built by the Slovenians in 1903. Along the north fence, is also the burial area for those who had been moved from Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There are also graves of other European nationalities in this area.

The original Oakwood Cemetery (know as Waukegan Cemetery) was opened in 1830. Until 1851, it sat below the bluff at the end of Clayton Street. In that year, the Town of Waukegan bought 17 acres between Marion Street (now Sheridan Road) and the bluff and moved the graves uphill to the cemetery's present site. In 1888, the City Council renamed the graveyard Oakwood Cemetery.

I recommend annual event co-sponsored by the city, the Waukegan Park District, the College of Lake County's Lakeshore Campus and the Waukegan Historical Society which is called OAKWOOD CEMETERY WALK.
It is a “living history” event that showcases the rich history of Waukegan through costumed actors portraying local historical figures with connections to the cemetery and Waukegan, Illinois. For details go to Waukegan Historical Society website.
