Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s hard to review a natural formation, so instead I will review the facilities near it. Parking was adequate for a quieter day, could be tricky if hear during holidays or summer vacations. Pathways were okay but could be better for those with balance or mobility issues. There is an alternate route for those with wheelchairs or prams. Did not see any public restrooms. More seating would be good for nice days.

We’d heard Bombo quarry was a moon space popular for making commercials but were really blown away by what we found. Fascinating geological structures, waves breaking over the rock formations & some interesting textures. A very interesting spot.

Easy drive, easy walk, lovely views on a clear day. Well worth the effort and doesn't take too long to drive there.

Helpful staff with a large display of free brochures. We really enjoyed exploring parts of the Kiama Coastal trail, Pilots Cottage Museum & Minnamurra rainforest. Best of all was the What’s On brochure which alerted us to the bi-annual Kiama Woodcraft sale in the Old Fire S the action. Amazing quality work & reasonable prices. Stayed at Kiama Surf Beach Cabins. All Excellent. Thanks all! We’ll be back..

Unique nature phenomenon!! It is more powerful and impressive than my expectations. The sound is loud too. On the day of my visit, a woman just stood next to the blowhole for video and she got totally wet. I would like to try too but i just didn't want to be soaked.
I must say it is more worth to see than Kiama blowhole.
A must see in Kiama!! You would like to stay and look at it for a longer time!

We did several sections of the walk over a couple of days. Beautiful views & so much variety. We were particularly impressed by the Little Blowhole & Bombo Quarry. Also lovely beaches, headlands & relatively flat. No issues with wind or boredom & certainly didn’t find it hard. As for being scared we’d be washed off rocks you can pick the time & areas to visit. Not sure what some reviewers were expecting? We had a great time.

We had a little spare time, so we made a quick visit to this sea stack off the coast at Minnamurra. The best view is accessed by walking through the public land at the back of the houses along the access road-just be aware of the cliffs! It only needs a fairly brief stop, but worth a short detour to check it out.

Beautiful beach and stark landscapes at Bombo.
Wend to capture the sunrise at the quarry. The morning sunrise on the rock face was spectacular.

There’s a lawn with shade, a stoney beach and protected water to swim and snorkel in. Unfortunately we didn’t see many fish and only one stingray. Boneyard is the right name for this spot.
