Special edition smartphones are often limited to just one region, but the Nubia Z60 Ultra Photography Edition will be widely available. Let's see what it will offer and at what price.
Nubia Z60 Ultra Photography Edition is essentially a visual variant, and that's how it was presented and priced on the manufacturer's website. The price of the smartphone pretending to be a camera with a two-color back decorated with imitation leather is the same as the price of the black and silver versions with a smooth casing - $780 in the US, EUR 900 (about PLN 3,900) in Europe for the variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The black variant is available now, while the silver and photo versions are available for pre-order and will begin shipping on April 30.
The photographic capabilities of the new variant are the same as those of the standard Nubia, which is quite rich. What deserves recognition is the fact that all three rear cameras offer optical image stabilization. The main role is played by a 50 Mpx IMX800 matrix with a size of 1/1.49 inch with an equivalent focal length of 35 mm, an f/1.59 aperture and a 1G+6P lens that captures more light, i.e. composed of one layer of glass and six layers of plastic. The 50 Mpx wide-angle camera has a size of 1/1.55", focal length of 18 mm, f/1.8 aperture and 100-degree field of view, allowing you to both capture a wide frame and take close-up macro photos. The half-inch 64 Mpx telephoto lens has the equivalent of a focal length of 85 mm and allows for a three-time optical zoom. There is also a 12 Mpx selfie camera, traditionally hidden under the screen for Nubia.

Nubia Z60 Ultra is also well equipped in other respects - it is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and the 6.8-inch AMOLED display has FHD+ resolution and smooth 120 Hz refreshment. The Nubia Z60 Ultra battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh and can be charged with a power of 80 W, it is also dust- and waterproof with IP68 class.
