Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route -need to reserve return timing?

Question

Hi Travel Forum Guru,

I purchased the return tickets from Nagano to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route. While the system mandate me to choose the timing from Ogizawa to Murodo. It does not seem to have an option to choose the return (back to Nagano) timing.

I would like to know did I miss out something or we can leave Murodo anytime and there is no need to reserve the return leg timing?

As i am heading there this weekend. I hope to get a reassurance on this ASAP.

Which website did you use to reserve ? So are you crossing the Alpine route exiting via Tateyama or return from Murodo ?

Here's the time table for all the modes of transportation, going from the Nagano side.

You don't have to reserve going back to Ogizawa. Just make sure you're on the last modes of transportation.

"This is a non-reserved bus; you cannot reserve a seat in advance. Please buy the ticket on the same day, before you board the bus. If you board the bus at a stop without a ticket counter, please purchase your ticket onboard. We normally add extra buses on busy days, but still cannot guarantee a seat for everyone. So if you are worried, please line up to board the bus early."

I used this website to purchase my ticket - Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route WEB Ticket Reservation.

As i could not buy round trip ticket from Tateyama side (fully booked), hence i booked my round trip ticket from Nagano station to Murodo and return back to Nagano station.
