Hello, I had spoken with an agent last month regarding my account that is in collections going as far as to agree and set up bi-monthly payments that were to begin on 03/14/24.Since that time, my account with *************** was hacked and closed. Having to deal with some health issues as well as working at ******************** today was the first chance that I had to call to make BBA aware of the situation and what was going on as I didn't want anyone to think that I had just bailed on my agreement. When I called I was unable to speak with anyone because I didn't have my case number nor the person's name that I spoke with and was told that without that specific information, I could not speak with anyone. Now, I do have that information however it is at the Ortho South location and I have been transferred to the North location and am not sure exactly where the info has been placed. Having worked for a collection company that they have worked with as well, I cannot understand how one could not look up my account by my name, social security number or phone number...not to mention when I was trying to explain all of this, the lady I spoke with hung up on me. I called back, she answered and I let her know that I am going to file a complaint with the BBB as this is ridiculous that you have someone reaching out to you to make things right and all she can do is read off of a script. I have a new bank account and would like to give BBA the information to get things set up again so that I can avoid having my wages garnished.
