This is a great part on Lake Livingston. If provides camping, swimming, boating and fishing opportunities. During the weekends, there is no day use, only camping and visitors. There are several sections of the park for camping, a couple of very tight circles with the campsite clustered together, 2 adjacent by the lake and a fourth on a small hill. The lake ones are the best and book up quickly as soon as the reservations open up. Fishing for catfish, buffalo and bass can all be done from the bulkhead. There is an area for swimming and a boat launch. The onsite store offers a variety of fishing supplies, food, snacks, and firewood. There is a boat launch but the water is shallow until you get out on the lake, there is no place to tie up boats on the bulkhead and the lake can become quite rough and windy.

This was our first visit to this RV park and it was amazing. Spaced out sites. Some water front. A great playground for kids. Nice general store that serves pizza. Park is very clean and mowed. We will highly recommend it.

We stayed at a site by the lake. No power but there was water. Very quite. There were people fishing and some boats on the lake. Bathroom and shower were clean. I just wish the sites had a more visible number and signs to assist in listing camp site numbers. We arrived late and hard to find our site. Blue bonnets were in bloom around lake.

This park is our favorite place so far in our RV travels. It is super clean and well-kept. The views of the huge lake are amazing. Lots of giant pine trees and plenty of space for each site. Very nice staff and great prices. I can’t wait to go back! Coldspring is also a cute little town. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!

Highly recommend this place. Super clean and well kept. Don’t know how they do it but NO MOSQUITOES ‼️‼️‼️All the staff are friendly and helpful.

We had been out to look at this park previously and remembered it in time to make reservations for 3 nights during spring break. We were pleased with our decision! It is very nice and quiet. Park is clean and has garbage pick up from your site between 8 and 4 daily. We didn't notice a problem with raccoons, like we have at other parks, which was nice. We will definitely go back when we need an option close to home for a few days.

How is Wolf Creek Park for a day visit?
We are babysitting our 6,8 & 10 year old in early Aug
They live in the Woodlands and I’m thinking the drive to Wolf Creek might be fun
Besides swimming boating fishing mini-golf and the playground-what else is there?
Should we pack food or is there an on-site place to grab some eats? Can we cook hot dogs and marshmallows as a “day” guest?

Right now, no day guests on weekends per their website. They have nice picnic area near swim area and playground. The are grills. Bring your charcoal. There is no restaurant here. They do have a little store that sells snow cones starting at 2 dollars. Mini golf is 1 dollar. Swim area is large, but shallow. It didn't come to my waist. It's my first visit so I'm not sure what there is outside the park.
I would like to experience living outdoors with my family for a month. At a tent site with electricity. Would this place be an option for us?

How much is a day pass?
"The park is not open to the general public on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays for Day Use. You must be camping or visiting someone who is camping to be able to come in to the park on these days. You may purchase a Day Pass Monday (providing the Monday is not a holiday) through Thursday for day use at $4.00 per person."
