Have gone to Two Mile Run County Park many times over the years. It's great for picnics, family reunions, hiking, jogging, biking, fishing, swimming, camping, canoeing, etc. If in the area, I'd recommend anyone to stop in to enjoy the many opportunities the park offers.

The park contains a valley where the creek has been dammed to form a reservoir. It offers fishing, swimming, hiking, and camping. Most of the land is wooded.

Some of the campsites have electricity. We stayed overnight during a very wet period and there was a lot of mud.

Two Mile Run County Park offers a variety of recreational activities. During the summer, a small guarded beach is available for a few with changing rooms. A small snack bar is available on the beach. You may rent a paddle boat or aqua cycle. Several small pavilions are located outside of the fenced in beach area along with a small playground. This area is also good for fishing. A large field is available above with larger pavilions and really old-style outhouses. Upkeep appears to be limited, anymore. Miss the canoeing and mini-golf activities.

During the winter, Two Mile features a large sled-riding hill and pavilion. Restrooms and a small playground are located off to the side of this area.

Two Mile Run County Park is a beautiful, county park offering a variety of recreational activities year-round.

Summer:
Enjoy a swim at Crosby Beach. This beach is guarded by a lifeguard. In addition to swimming, you may rent a canoe or aqua cycle. There is a several dollar fee for swimming. Changing rooms and restrooms with running water are available at the beach. A snack bar is located above the changing rooms.

Bring your own canoe, kayak or small motor boat for fishing.

There are pavilions and picnic tables available. Large pavilions are available for rent. Fields are available for sports. A children's playground area is available.

Enjoy one of the hiking trails through the county park.

Two Mile also offers camping at a campground for the summer.

Winter:
Sled ride on a large hill or go ice fishing.

A limited number of restrooms are available throughout the park. If you rent a larger pavilion, you may need to walk a distance to find a functional restroom. An old outhouse is located near the large pavilions.

Bottom Line:
Great place for family functions, enjoying some personal, quiet-time or for a school/church/business function.

I enjoy taking hikes in this park. The diverse geographical features from steep hills to rolling fields with improved trails give you the ability to enjoy the scenery. It also gives anyone regardless of physical condition the ability to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Pavilions are available for picnics and a beautiful lake for numerous water activities. This is a great place to take family and friends for outdoor recreation.

We stayed for four days/nights for the IBO tournament in July. The campsites are large and spaced adequately so that you're not on top of one another. It's quiet and family oriented. The beach is great too. It would be nice if they had more "full service" sites. We reserved a full hookup site in February, but when we arrived, were told we had an electric site only. A camp host advised us that you can make reservations up to one year in advance, so when a lot of people leave, they reserve their same site for the following year. It was great being on site of the tournament rather than have to drive into town each day. Saying that, you should bring everything you need as the camp store doesn't have much to offer and the closest Walmart is about 10 miles away. There are some small mom and pop stores, but they don't always have everything you need and are a little pricy. We'll definitely return to this park again now that we know what to expect.

We were here for the Rocky Grove Cross country race. It's a pretty nice venue for this, lots of room and ample parking. It looks like a nice place to just relax and have a quiet picnic. Close to Franklin and Oil City, but just far enough away to have a rustic, laid back atmosphere.
