Very amazing at Carroll University. They help me with any problem I have and it makes me very happy being there. They help me to reach my full potential at having a great experience at Carroll University!
Carroll University has helped me pursue my dreams and form new relationships. As a chemistry major, I have had opportunities to complete research and gain lab experience. The school has helped me to pursue additional education and career opportunities. Through having office hours with the professors and tutors for classes, I have felt supported by Carroll in my educational career. The Career Service Center has also helped me to find opportunities in the Waukesha area where I can gain experience in the workforce. The club opportunities have enabled me to form relationships and learn the importance of service. Global Medical Brigades helps individuals who cannot afford health care. Carroll has many great opportunities to support its students, but I wish they had a more diverse culture. I would love to learn about additional ethnicities. I also think Carroll needs healthier food options and various ethnic dishes or food locations. Carroll University has helped me accomplish my goals.
I am a high school junior who is incredibly interested in Carroll. From what I've seen so far, Carroll is a beautiful campus with kind people, amazing sports, and many academic opportunities.
I am yet to arrive at campus because I'm slated to resume in the Fall semester of 2024. However, all of my online liaisons with academic advisors, enrollment counselors, currently enrolled students, webinars and so on have been a wonderful experience altogether. The entire journey from application to admission to processing of enrollment documents has been an added confirmation that Carroll University is truly a place to be and a perfectly suitable environment for learning. As an international student, the cultural diversity ethics that are championed in the school make it seamless for me to navigate on campus; as I've experienced a bit of this advantage even online via webinars. I highly recommend Carroll University to all students and certainly cannot wait to arrive campus and commence studies.
Carroll University has been an amazing experience! The professors are super supportive, and the campus vibes are just awesome. Whether I'm hitting the books or hanging out with friends, I always feel right at home. I've grown so much already.
I love the nursing classes! I spend a lot of time in my room, so I'm not involved in the party scene much. The food and housing is good. I'm involved in many campus organizations and I love them all.
Carroll University is a great school academically, and a lot of people really like their classes and professors. However, some of the student life aspects, such as food and on-campus fun activities, tend to be a bit lacking. I am happy here now after finding my friend group, but it was a struggle to find things to entertain me before I found friends.
With many nice students and faculty members Carroll has a very loving community. One thing I would like to see improved is the main dinning halls food.
I believe Carroll University is a great college that offers a lot of diversity and opportunities for its students. I have made life-long friendships and career connections here. There are some things I would like to see change, like how are tuition money is used and lower tuition in general.
What I liked most about Carroll University is that it is a small school so it is easier to connect with my professors. The professors I have had experience with were very nice and easy to talk to and ask questions. All teachers provide office hours which any student can ask questions during. Another thing I like about Carroll University is what is called SI. This is when students who have already taken the class help tutor kids who are taking the class currently. They help with quizzes and exams and provide exam study guides. It's just another great way to study. What I would like to see change is the lack of team spirit. At Carroll University you hardly hear about the upcoming home games. This leads to not many students attending them and supporting the athletes. I believe that more updates and announcements about the games will encourage kids to attend the games.
My time at Carroll so far has been sort of rough. As a student that is living in a dorm, I find myself not doing much on campus. That social life on campus is close to none, there are no events to bring the student closer together and I find myself connecting to my teammates on the track team. Most, not all of professors at Carroll seem to not care much about the students here, they give out excessive amounts of school work and little to no time to get it all done. Most of the professors also don’t really care about “sick days” or even when a family emergency occurs, they expect you in the classroom and the workload to be completed and they won’t give any exception with what you are dealing with outside of school.
Carroll University is nice college for those who enjoy a small community. Interacting with people is easy and you'll be able to get to know everyone pretty easily. My issue with Carroll is the ongoing changes the school makes to try to make it better. While it is okay Carroll creates a mess for students and makes it troubling for students. Some people I know have transferred
what I like about carroll is the variety of courses they have, especially for the career that you want to pursue. There is also a lot of resources to help with school or if you need help finding a job. I would like to see change in having a more organized registration process.
Overall, I have enjoyed my time at Carroll. Specifically, I love the professors at this school as they take the time to get to know their students, even in the classes containing the most students. There are a few that are quite unpleasant but still find a way to teach in an efficient way. I have found that the departments within the school are very disorganized and they have an interesting way of completing things. Overall I have had a good experience with Carroll, I have just had to find loopholes at times to do what needed to be done.
One of the things that really sticks out about Carroll is that the instructors, staff, and administration are there to help you. If you have any questions or need assistance in succeeding, Carroll is there. The housing options are high quality, and the food options are better than other schools I have visited. One thing I would change is the residency requirement. Carroll adheres to a junior housing requirement, meaning students must live on campus until they reach senior standing. On campus housing is more expensive than living in an off-campus residence, but many students like the convenience of one comprehensive tuition/ housing fee.
My experience here at Carroll has not been what I expected it to be. If you want to go to collage for the collage experience I would not recommend going here. However, most of the teachers here are here because they want to help go grow your knowledge. You will have better connections with your teachers here along with better connections with your grade. Class sizes are smaller and you end up in a lot of classes for your major with the same students so you really get to know a wide range of people.
Every single teacher just reads off their PowerPoints that they buy from McGrawhill. Piss poor effort for an expensive private college. Advisors are bad as well, they don’t really help you pick the right classes nor inform you if you are taking the wrong class. CCE is dumb and no student wants to take the class because it’s just a way for them to earn more grants but you learn nothing but common sense. Food is overly unhealthy, quite subpar, I’d say the Swedish prisons would have better food. They switched their meal plans so that you only have a limited number per week with the most expensive being 14 which would be 2 meals a day. It used to be you had a set number for the year but they changed it to save money and increase salaries. Their new “investments” are quite bad as well because they have had to resort to increasing every students tuition by almost 7 grand in a span of 4 years. Overall I’d say to save your money because you’ll get the same education at a community college.
