This evening, 1BCT commemorated the 1944 Waal River Crossing with a walk down Ardennes on Fort Bragg, N.C., joined by Roy Hanna and Bob DeVinney, 504th PIR veterans and participants in Operation Market Garden with the 82nd Airborne Division.
The walk, and a dinner gathering, served to bring together our veterans, active duty paratroopers, family and friends. It also allowed us to celebrate the coming Change of Command ceremony, which happens Friday morning.
We will always strive to celebrate and remember our Devil brothers and sisters.
