In some ways, this is similar to the film set in Japan, except that this one was much more fun to watch. Here we have the JL appearing in various parts of this very different world as teenagers. They meet different characters from the presumed TV series, and eventually everyone teams up together to figure out what is /really/ going on. Because what they experience is clearly wrong to all of them.
The film's title promises a sequel, and some of the fractured JL memories suggest that there is a story behind this one. I will be watching the sequel, if it comes out.
One warning though: if you have a low tolerance for films based on teenagers who act like, well, stereotypes of teenagers, this may not be the film for you.
But it is well done and I enjoyed it a lot.
The epilog was a set up for another video, but since it was based on a comic, I expected that. The video stands as a complete story, though.
The crossover is undeniably corny and may not appeal to everyone's tastes, but it does offer an exciting blend of the two franchises. The premise of the crossover is intriguing, as it sees the members of the Justice League transported to the world of RWBY and turned into teenagers. They then team up with Team RWBY to fight a common enemy.
The animation and action sequences in "Justice League X RWBY" are well-executed, and fans of both franchises will appreciate the attention to detail given to the characters and their abilities. The crossover also offers some comedic moments that provide a light-hearted touch to the otherwise serious story.
While "Justice League X RWBY" may not be the most groundbreaking crossover, it is a decent effort that delivers on its premise. It's worth checking out if you're a fan of either franchise or just curious about the unexpected crossover.
